I actually believe the lore of the little prince is a metaphor to the “King of Eden” in his early childhood. The prince is the first skykid, who came from the stars (which is why he’s seen as an alien in a lot of people’s theories- but then again, skykids would classify as aliens). He’s found by people in the Isle of Dawn (as seen in a spirit memory there) and is taken in by the isle elder. The isle elder is the rose- a close friend/family to the prince. However, the prince has other motives and wants to explore the world. Over time, the isle elder grows more distant towards the prince, growing older and more frail, as seen with the rose decaying without the care of the prince. Meanwhile, the prince works his way up to becoming the king of Eden, bringing on the Industrial Revolution you see in hidden forest. The damaging of the planet in The Little Prince directly references the damage to the world of Sky that the prince has brought on, from his neglect to the natural world through the focus on industrialism. When the prince, now the king of Eden, finally decides to return to the isle elder, his mistakes come back to “bite” him (just like the snake from the story), and he is faced with the consequences of his tampering with the natural world (the shard exploding, seen in Season of Shattering, and krills escaping containment, as seen in Season of Abyss’s story + murals). It’s too late, and the world as the King knows it is wiped out, now becoming what we see in Sky today.

The Little Prince is literally a mirror of Sky Kid’s experience, even with the Eden rebirth. Aurora is the angel we hear sing in Orbit, she is the Queen who now reigns instead of Resh in Eden. We are her children. The deer idk. It kills krill. But only in a quest and is generally useless except for the wl in the area.

Actually, in the last little Prince quest, in the last part of the credits shown you can see him ( barely idk ) sitting near the rose.

5:44 akshully ☝️🤓 in the original novel we also don't know if he came back to the Rose, it's unclear and stays for the reader to decide. Same in Sky, you decide what what happened.

Kinda, in the originally novel It doesn’t tell us if he makes it, but It did tell us he was trying to head back to rose, which in sky, the prince never even mentions wanting to head back to the rose

Yesss I love the little prince so much! :D But I kinda disagree with your theory about him (and this is my opinion) I think the little prince is more like an alien from another planet instead of a god, as he doesn’t have any powers or anything. I think the reason the spirits act differently than the others is 1. This season is based off a book, and it’s the first collab so it’s gonna be a lot different than the other collabs, and 2. I think they act differently cuz they’re so cut off from the rest of the sky world, especially with how vault ended up after the darkness fell. And the little prince actually did go back to his rose, there was a short cutscene when you finish the quests, it shows him back on his asteroid with his rose :3 If you haven’t already, I highly recommend reading the book, it’s so sweet and an amazing book! :D But basically what I’m saying is, the little prince (imo) is just a sweet little boy who doesn’t understand grown ups, and grown ups don’t understand him lol. Sorry if this sounded rude or anything, I’m just sharing my opinion that’s all🩵 Anyway, thanks for reading, have a good day!

I think you're right and the purpose of this video was if I understood well to turn these technicalities into head canon lore just for fun... The different version can definitely coexist!

A point I would like to make about the Sky collab seasons "changing the story." I will make a separate comment on the endings of season to prevent this comment from being too long. Most liberties taken with sky seasons are usually taken to make the story fit into the sky world, this includes the player taking on multiple character roles, certain areas being different, and the spirits taking on a more fleshed out personality so we can actually have TS hints and see how these personalities affect the story In the little prince this means there are islands in a desert instead of planets and we take on the role of both the pilot and the fox. We learn about the adventures up to the point of the spirit quests through the spirit memories, and we take on the role of the fox in that we develop a strong relationship with him through his adventures in the sky kingdom. We both, in a sense, "tame" each other. In the season of the nine colored deer, the area is more compact. We take on the role of the travelers, who are the first people the deer saves, and the oriole, who takes on a small role, but does serve as a messenger for the deer.

Yes, they mostly do just change the story to fit the sky world, but making the prince die and go to Eden, is something that didn’t need to happen, as they could have easily had you help guide the prince back to the rose, but they decided the best route would be to change the story.

A point about the endings of sky collab seasons. I made a separate comment talking about the changes of collab seasons as a whole. In that comment I make the point that the season's liberties are basically ways to make it fit into the world of sky Let's start with the little prince and OH BOY IF THERE'S A DEBATE THIS ONE IS THE ONE TO DEBATE PREPARE FOR A LONG ONE Many people including Glitched Socks, say that the little prince made it to their home planet B-612 in the original story safe and sound. A valid interpretation sure, as the prince does attempt to go home, and he's not there the next day. But the actual ending is sad, and more ambiguous as we don't know if the attempt to go home even works as they choose to focus on the effect of the young child on the pilot. I know because I actually had to read it during a french course. A fun read but will cause tears. SPOIL WARNING FOR THE ORIGINAL BOOK I GUESS, IF YOU WANNA EXPERIENCE IT YOURSELF, GO DO THAT. SAME FOR QUESTS 5 & 6 of TLP SEASON THE ORIGINAL STORY In the book the prince basically tries getting help from a snake, saying that the snake can bring the prince back home. The catch is that the snake has to bite him. He Basically tells our pilot that he's gonna try to go home, due to missing his rose, and needing to go back and taking care of his aestroid. He tells the pilot to not watch him leave, as it would look like he died. He says that if his body still lays on the desert by the next day, his body was too heavy to carry to his home but that his soul will still be there. Prince says that when the pilot looks at the stars, think of him, as he is laughing on one of them. The pilot basically makes the decision to stay with him until the very end, as the prince walks off into the desert, gets bitten by the snake and collapses, presumably dying due to snake venom. But the next morning his body is gone. What happened? We are unsure of. All we know is that the strange encounter with a young child wandering in the desert, has touched the pilot for many years to come. Note in the original ending we don't actually see if the prince returned to their original planet, let alone returned alive and well. All we know is prince collapsed after snake venom, and body is gone in the morning. Prince could have died, and been buried by sand, prince could have made it home, but his status on whether alive or dead is unknown, and prince could have been hallucination caused by dehydration. The only thing we do know is that the pilot is affected for the rest of his life. NOW LET'S LOOK AT THE SKY SEASON SHALL WE SPOILERS FOR QUESTS 5 AND 6 OF TLP SEASON LINE. YOU CAN PLAY THEM RN IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, JUST BE READY FOR A CHALLENGE UP AHEAD. Our prince says that he's gonna try to go home, and gives us the gift of his laughter. Saying that the stars will remind us of his laughter. We then find that the little prince gets help from a krill instead of a snake. The krill likely tells the prince that he can go home. The catch, he has to go through eden. Of course us being us we say "no way we're gonna be with you until the last moment," and go into eden after him. Only to find he has collapsed and become a statue. We save as many statues as we can hoping the prince, is in one of them. After going to orbit we find him right outside the rebirth portal. Thank goodness we found him....right? We walk through the rebirth portal finding ourselves on starlight desert but that the prince is not there with us. We look at the stars and see that this young child wandering the desert, and sky world. has affected us for many years to come. That's a lot of similarities to the original ending. The prince get's help from a krill instead of the snake, because krills are the dangerous animal in this world. The catch to going home is going through eden, which is looks to be fatal, just like how getting venom from snake bite, looked to be fatal in the book. Yes we see him in orbit implying death, but we also both go through the rebirth portal together. Implying that maybe he's alive now? *May I remind you that we have no knowledge on what happens if someone not from the world of sky attempts to rebirth in the world of sky, meaning if they go through that rebirth portal, and they are not from the world of sky, their fate is unknown.* -The only fate you do know is if you rebirth with them, you end up likely in the place you first met them upon rebirth instead of home The prince is not from this world, meaning we don't know what happens after their rebirth. Are they on their home planet? If so are they alive or dead? Did they get obliterated into nothingness, or perhaps just absorbed into the megabird? Perhaps he was just a hallucination? Who knows and who needs to know, he will be in our hearts anyways. NOW NINE COLORED DEER SPOILER FOR THE FILM. IT IS ON KZbin AND 30 MINUTES LONG. We do not know the ending of the season yet, but we do know there will be changes to the story to make it fir within the sky world. In the story film wise, the merchant who was saved betrayed the deer, returning back to where he last saw the deer, this time bringing the king and the hunters. He goes in the lake thinking the deer will save him again, only for the oriole to tell the deer not to go for it's a trap. The deer goes anyways learns it is indeed a trap and basically tells them "no you betrayed me you're staying in the lake, please be compassionate and don't go back on your words next time." I imagine we will get something similar to this. But it's best to wait until the 4th quest comes out.

Sendo uma pessoa que leu o livro do Pequeno Príncipe várias vezes, sua teoria me deixou meio confusa kkkkkk, mas eu entendo que é para tentar encaixar o universo do Pequeno Príncipe em sky. Mas o Pequeno Príncipe parece mais uma pequena criatura de luz do que um deus sabe? Na lore de sky ele pode ser tipo... um filho da luz, só que criado muito antes dos filhos da luz, por isso ele ser tão diferente mas tão parecido. Ele ficou no asteróide dele cuidando de sua vida, ele apenas voou para os outros asteróides e a Terra com os pássaros para se afastar de sua exigente rosa, então encontrou a nós, os filhos da luz. Talvez os espíritos ajam de maneira boba, como se fossem criados por uma criança... por que estamos vendo como aconteceu tudo na perspectiva do Pequeno Príncipe, não estamos vendo como aconteceu, mas sim como o Pequeno Príncipe viu e entendeu as situações. Já que no livro quem conta as histórias da viagem do Pequeno Príncipe dos asteróides até sua chegada na Terra é o próprio Pequeno Príncipe, que contava como foi a chegada dele pra a Terra para o Aviador enquanto eles estavam perdidos no Deserto do Saara....

Who doesn't really care about the Nine Coloured Deer season as it it pretty boring but Aurora season is really fun, I wish I could see the Little Prince world so I can experience some of it😞
