Goddammit! Ever since I saw this film I'm obsessed with that jacket leo is wearing. Great Cinematography by the way.

Just about to mention that leather jacket. Gorgeous!
@Swarm5096 жыл бұрын
I tried to find it and it is a custom made jacket as far I can tell. There are a few European leather jacket companies that make this type of jacket, with buttons or zipper for the flap, but they are very pricey. I believe it was around $1200 for the jacket, and it was a custom jacket that had to be fitted and months spent making it.

As lifelong Houstonian myself, I take great pride in knowing one of the greatest Americans of the 20th century hailed from the city I’m from. In fact my grandfather is buried roughly 200ft away in the same cemetery as Howard Hughes, been to his gravesite a couple times. Absolutely Houston and American legend.
@KC-fb8ql24 күн бұрын
Me too! It is a cool piece of Houston and American history! I visited his grave once. I believe his childhood home is still standing there.

I've seen this movie tons of times, but never really noticed that Howard says "don't get all jittery on me" almost as if to foreshadow what is to come for Howard.

It's brilliant the acting. Noah being the numbers guy is still infatuated with Howard's life. Sure Hell's Angels is a money pit, but Noah can only smile at how big and exciting of a production it is. There was nobody in the US like Howard Hughes at the time.

@Onion Head And yet in today's dollars, his total Hells Angels budget would be about 60 odd million. Kinda incredible isn't it? That's well south of most blockbuster budgets.

I’ve made most of the observations other commenters made as I’ve seen this film dozens of times over the years. But lately, every time I see a MIRAMAX film; I.E, the Weinstein Bros up until 2006, I wonder which actresses in all those films were on the casting couch and just remained silent. Aviator was made in 2004.
