Awesome getting your kids out there. What mountain biking is all about. But when they crash It can scare the crap out of you. First Real mountain bike ride with my little one he went sideways off the trail and down into this small little ravine. So I lost sight of him for a few seconds and had no idea how deep the ravine was. Scared the absolute bejesus out of me. You’ve never seen a person leap off of their bike pretty much at peddling speed and jump down a ravine as quick as I did that day. Luckily he was good. Just some minor scrapes and bruises and so forth and he finished the ride. Kids are amazing! Love your videos keep it up.

Scared the hell out of me hitting the tree! You're all much more experienced than me, and I'm getting into this way late at age 54, but, wouldn't pads be cheaper than emergency room bills? 😂I always wear mine, but, I'm not made of rubber anymore. I've been amazed at how many people don't wear any pads when I've already nearly taken out both knees, an elbow and a shoulder. That confidence must come with experience and I can't wait to have it!

Hey JC Trails, just found your channel earlier today when I was looking at GoPro Hero7 Black videos. Dude, you are close by, not sure where, but you did mention Duxbury being near you. I am Clinton, MA. I love this video with your family. I don't have any kids, but I do have a nephew. He got a cheapie mountain bike for his birthday, and my brother in law bought a Stumpjumper a few months ago. So I am hoping I can get them out riding a lot. Nice to see that you and your family have the love for mountain biking. Keep up the great work on the videos. I will be drilling down into your videos soon enough. :D I just go back from Ireland on Monday after spending 12 days there. I went over to race the Red Bull Fox Hunt. C'mon over next year! I am the only American so far over there racing. It is crazy how much fun that race is. I don't even race any other events either. If I could take more weekends off from the restaurant I might try racing enduro races, but that is when I make my money. I used to race BMX, and that was so much fun back in the day.

Wow, great to be young and limber as a cat, sure dont want anyone to get hurt, maybe get some pads? --Your kids and the others do great for their ages, I am 62 so when I was 10 they only had road bikes, either cruisers or 'English racers' when they were actually made in England like Raleigh

Sooo awesome to see families on their bikes! But I think your kid's saddle is a bit too high for the trails. The crash at 4:46 was likely because of this.

8:00 he was too low in hte berm, did not lean enough and turn the bike in to keep it in the berm, and he went straight off the berm and it kicked him off the bike cus the front went down, first time I see a crash like that.
