I think the holes on the chest came from the original kabuto cast off figure line in which you can attach the armor of the masked form (the center hole is the joint) and when you press the button on the belt the armor literally pops off to reveal the rider form Also, Kabuto and Gatack's bike do cast off into these Ex-mode, and gatack's bike turns into the hover thing. While Sasword isnt shown to ride a bike, TheBee and Drake are shown to have their own bike, suggesting that Sasword might also have his own bike (but their bike have no special gimmick like kabuto's)

The holes on these kind of bootlegs are used for laser light(LED) where you push the button from behind (somewhere on the back) it light up. Some of them have it but some don't.

OH dang, I used to have the this exact Kabuto toy when i was a child, just with correct Colour of the rider. Mine had one feet shorter than the other. The reason why all those figures had holes in their body is because, there are two variants of the toy. The one with the bike, and the one that comes with cast on armour for the rider. I really wanted to collect them all, but the next time i come to the store that sells it, it was no longer on sale. Thank you PinkCarbonara for giving me a trip down nostalgia aisle.

I think I know why there's a hole in the center. See all of these bootleg toys use the exact same mold and that mold has a light up feature, basically has an incredibly weak LED on the front and the button to light it on the back but sometimes companies remove that LED and button but forget to fill in the hole. That or it's a spot to attach the armor for the Cast Off feature

these bootlegs are kinda peak, i think the worst kind has to be those power ranger samurai bootleg thing where it's just 5 shinken red in different colors. also those fake rider names kinda reminds of the 5 main heroes from armor hero (the first season from 2008), aside from the wolf and firedrake change, they're pretty close.

the color schemes also match up aswell (for the most part). they even have a yellow version of firedrake that probably corresponds to Armor Hero Emperor, since his design mainly takes aspects from Fire Dragon. (now that i think about it, wolf is probably snow mastiff.)

Back then I used to own 3 bootleg kamen rider kabuto toy which is kabuto, hyper kabuto and dragonfly. Weirdly enough their colour pattern is correct and articulation is also good. And if you're wondering why there's a hole on their body, it's bcs for the armor attachment that should come with the toy

The reason why they have a hole because there's a version of them with a gimmick cast off but you have to do it manually so yeah that is the reason btw i used to have this bootleg version of cast off ones i had gattack and the bee

Yes its a copy of the original kabuto castoff series which has a button on the belt and press it, the armor will shoot out it has spring mechanism gimmick but the bootleg doesn't have it, so you have to do it manually.. hope this clarity

they are not twisting the bike concept as far as i know, it is kinda look the same as the one in the show even the transformation looks close enough. zabee, drake, sasword uses the same bike so it also kinda follows the concept.
