Good to see some performance, box stock so far one need some upgrades, but if you don't want to spend that much box stock is great not bad to start or even for exp person

I had the SCX10 CRC white jeep many years ago as well. It would be cool if they made a SCX10 III Deadbolt. I like the Element RC Enduro Sendero SE when it comes to beginner crawlers. It comes at a better price point as well.

Picked one up yesterday that says SCX10 III Deadbolt on the box! I went back and forth with the hobby shop guy over the phone but sure enough he was right. Must have been a misprint because it is most definitely a SCX10 II but thought that was cool. May keep the box lol

Great video, the Deadbolt looks to be a very capable truck for the price point, with endless upgrade options available, looks like a great gateway truck, for sure. Should provide endless hours of fun, and that's why we're all here. Not to go too OT, or derail the comments, but since CCxRC is an expert in the field, I wanted to ask you, would you consider the LMT to be the top of the line in RTR Monster Trucks? Leaning towards adding a Monster Truck to my collection, and believe the LMT to be the best of the best in that area. Just wanted your experienced opinion. Thanks!

I have a TRX4, and an X-Maxx, along with a couple other trucks, but I don't have a monster truck, and the LMT really seems like the best one going, with endless upgrades available as well. Wrenching on these trucks is half the fun, so having plenty of upgrades available is important to me, and the LMT certainly has those.

thanks Tony i have watched a few vids on this truck and yours is the most positive, im new to this extremely fun hobby and just wasn't sure what to go for but you just helped me make up my mind up, or should it be the BASE CAMP and would the deabolt body go on the base camp ? thanks for any advise on this.

I have 2 SCX10II, but seriously another axial re-run minus steel gears but more expensive. 🤪 Nice unboxing tho! Fail for axial or should I say Horizon……..again.

Soooo, If i buy a Deadbolt SCX10II i will be able to just buy parts for the normal SCX10II or are the parts not interchangeable?

Yes. The main change is electronics.

Deadbolt is alil too fast for a true crawler .. slow modulation is tricky .. it does better than something like a trx4 on the rocks I’ll say that so the value is there .. the basecamp should make the deadbolt $199 tbh.. the price is just too close to not get a basecamp as your budget crawler
