Hahaha I was so mad at them for volunteering me!! I was like I can’t carve a pumpkin, let alone a watermelon!!! Hahah!!! It seemed to work out though?! I guess the rest of the contestants couldn’t carve either Lolol! The watermelon carving would make a fun party game though!! I was like, I’ll have to keep this in mind for a 4th of July party or any kind of summer cookout!!

Its a great family vacay!!! Actually kids as young as two years old can go to the kids club!! And yes, my husband’s mom grew up on the Azores and his Dad has family there as well! It was neat to be able to meet up with family while in port!! The Azores is kind of hard to get to otherwise!

Haha!! Yes, I guess the pumpkin carving skills came in handy for something!! Lolol 😂 and Dad’s parents spoke Portuguese in their home which is how he learned it. Unfortunately the girls know some Portuguese words but can’t speak it fluently 😕. I would love for them to have the opportunity to learn to speak a language fluently. But haven’t come across the right opportunity..yet!!
