I remember when my Dad took my Brother and I to Pope AFB in Fayetteville NC for a tour on a C5 Galaxy a few years they first came into service. The size was monstrous. This was quite a while before the B-52's came out with Roam abd Love Shack though. Two of my all-time favorite songs. I was living the beach life in San Diego after ETS'ing from the ARMY at Ft Huachuca AZ when these came out. What a great time to be young, and living close enough to throw a rock and hit the Pacific Ocean from my home. Great music and fun in the sun at the beach.

Lip -Syncing or not the B-52s were great live, I have seen a lot of live acts and the B-52s were one of the best shows I ever went to. They had a great energy, the crowd was totally into it, and they put on a fantastic show. I had the great pleasure of seeing them at Red Rocks in Denver Colorado, we were about row 6 right in the middle and it was lit. It was loud, not as loud as Billy Idol was, that one left my ears ringing for a while.
