I love the whole WHAMMY! album. It's the only album of theirs that I like every single song on. I love their synth sound on this album and how Space age every song sounds. Trism might be my second favorite song on the album, after Song For A Future Generation. Hello, I'm Cindy and I'm Pisces and I like chihuahuas and Chinese noodles 🍝

I just love Trism incredibly.....it's one of their songs that goes through my mind alot. In fact, Trism is tied with every other B52s song in existence as being my favorite songs in all of life.

My favourite B52s track. The guitars are phenomenal.

My stepdaughter is in her early 20's so she's ignorant of how awesome the B-52's are. When she was pregnant and choosing a name for her baby, I talked her into naming her daughter Stella, cause of this song. She didn't know it of course ;)

Heard this song once during the eighties, and had a vague idea about how the name sounded. The song never let my mind, thou. Today I had nothing to do in this cold Rio de Janeiro afternoon and remembered to look for it in the web. Now I'm transported to 25 years ago. Good times!

yeah, i woul say my list of favorite to least favorite b52s albums would go something like this. 1. wild planet, 2. the b52s (1st album), 3. whammy, 4. funplex / cosmic thing tie, 5. mesopotamia / bouncing off the satalites tie and at last 6. good stuff. i bought good stuff when it came out and then sold it a few years later. i never warmed up to that album. it is the only b52s album i no longer own.

i think that is the case. most songs were duets between fred and kate, and bad ones at that. what was missing was the 3 parts that all three of them gave to their music. amazing how much cindy not being on that album really effected them.

This song was made 30 years ago as a message for time traveler John Titor
@jeremyfischer52558 жыл бұрын
actually thats wrong. idk how much you know about the whole john titor story, but pamela claims this isnt the song that john told her to remember so shed know it was the version of himself thst showed up on our timeline the first time.
@jeremyfischer52558 жыл бұрын
and also, this song wasnt "made" by john titor nor did it really have anything to do with him. he just liked the B-52's. the song he told pamela to remember though had significance other than for it to be a way for her to identify him. he said the song would all make sense further down the road.. whatever thst was supposed to mean.. but yeah, it isnt this song.
@foulmouthken18128 жыл бұрын
Jeremy Fischer actually I don't believe in John Titor so it's all wrong.... so actually you're wrong because it's all made up bullshit hahahahaha so yeah you're wrong... LOL LOL

bushfire is one of my all time faves. love it to death. also love channel z. cosmic thing had a lot of good songs. i dont care for the good stuff album though. too commercial for me. i found the songs to be a shadow of the b52s former selves. but like you said, different strokes for different folks.
