I get what you mean in this video, Kripparrian. I got a couple Iron Sensei's in a game, stuck with them for awhile and ramped to T5. Managed get a Sentry Bot, Foe Reaper and a Hydra I kept dumping buffs on. I ended game with 4 HP (earlier hits) but NUKED everyone once I got established. It was... Hilariously terrifying.

Crowd favourite is actually surprisingly good to prop up a strategy that's still looking for stuff. It's growth isn't dependent on spending buffs on it and it can get respectably large towards the late game so it's never bad, it's just never amazing.

What is the right play when you don't get a token on turn 1, and get bad minions after tier up (turn 3)? Do you just re-roll and go for one additional minion. Seems like one of the harder early game choices if RNG goes south.

Highrolling with Shredder often pays off more in Battlegrounds than in other game modes. There's only 14 legendaries in BG, so Maexxna comes up a fair amount of the time. The rest are all generally good value, with about 4 that suck and do nothing of substance for you if they pop out.

My favorite new thing to dance with daryl are all on tier 3 now. Dance up an imp gang boss, dance up kadgar to 15/15 and dance up soul jugglers to 20/20+. You only need one of each and then you tier 4 to argus of defender your imp gang. Quite a fun strat when the tier 6 unit cant snipe your golden 50/50 kadgar and golden 50/50 soul juggler

Ikr. Every time I picked deryl I didn't even care about brann or lightfang. Deryl could always get huge cleaves, huge cobalt and high baseline amalgam without those two if you appropriately pre-purchase "fuel minions" and token generating minions on previous turn. Deryl is so consistent when played right: almost top 4 guaranteed, though it does have some troubles aiming for first place.

Screw mid-range. I picked robo bartender today and basically took A.F. Kay's approach to a whole new level. Leveling up all the way to 5 stars, taking around 20 damage and then easy wins to #1 after that.. lol

can someone answer my question if the minions are drawn from a larger pool or if they are just randomly selected? so if only 5 mama bears are in existence you could draw all 5 and the rest of the players cant draw them anymore or if its just a random chance a certain minion is picked each round. Most games like that draw from a larger pool but im not so sure about hearthstones

Ultimately I think this is Blizzard's idea with battlegrounds. They want midrange to be the best strategy because you'll be rewarded for better plays rather than getting lucky on a 'meta comp'.

For my experience on picking heroes the best ones are the "early" powers. Exemple syndragosa or "stitches" (the 60hp dude) rat king. Brann i guess i never play it (i didn t have the oportunity)

This gamemode is way too much luck based, imo minions should attack the most left minion (prioritazing taunts) and not randomly. Of course some cards should be balance then. Also some deathrattles outcome should be less random... (But it's hearthstone cards..). In the end a lot of heroes need buffs.. Conclusion: this gamemode is funnier to watch than play..

@Junius Argonon Dont look at "a game" look at the big picture. Complaining about bad luck just holds you back. Instead look at chances realistically, and learn how to optimize them. Thats the skill in this game. (and every other game involving chances) Dont play to win an individual game, play to learn and make as little mistakes as possible.
