My grandma passed away in 2018. We live three hours north of Orlando and my grandma was in the hospital there. On February 22nd 2018 I got a call from my aunt just after 11am- and my mom had just pulled into the hospital- and my aunt told me grandma had passed away. My dad had to physically pick me up off the floor and he held me as I cried. Out of her six biological grandchildren, I was my grandma’s baby.

Thank you this was a old post i made its been almost 3 years now my mom has been gone. This august the 26 will be 3 year's. I was 29 when she passed now 32. Both my mom and dad are gone Thank you for your kind words. I don't think time make's it better we just learn how to live with it my mom had been sick a long time. I know she is free now and not in any pain. I use to think i would die with out my mom But we are more stronger then you think Its like at first you can't believe it. Then it hits you and you cry for a long time then you get mad at god and everyone And ask why. Its all part of grieving. And everyone is not the same how it can come. you might cry first then get mad and can't believe it. You will always have your days its been almost 3 years And some day's i still cry. But its not as bad as when i first lost her. I don't cry everyday anymore you do learn to smile again My mom always told me everything that lives must die. But i know she would want me to go on she use to tell me that when she was alive. She would say Don't lay down and die because i did live your life And i will be making us a place in heaven. So when you come home i will be there. I just pray we do get to see are loved ones again.

This song reminds me of my dear Grandmother, she raised 5 kids by her self, her husband passed before I was born and I was the first grandchild. She helped raise me and was a wonderful woman. She became sick and was hospitalized for days where she would go in and out of unconsciousness. I was there for a few days at the hospital and went home to shower for just a bit when I got a call that she had passed. I sure do miss her.
