When my brother and his wife had my niece I sent them two weeks worth of meals! It definitely helped them a lot since they didn’t have to worry about cooking while getting used to having a new born around. For baby supplies mostly diapers and little muslin burping cloths cause babies spit up so much for being so little.

Oh my goodness congratulations! You’re going to be an amazing Aunt (I know you already are to Steph’s babies), but there’s something about seeing your baby sibling become a parent. I can’t describe it, but when I met my oldest nephew my peanut for the first time and saw how much he looked like my baby sis I knew what love was in that moment. There’s so much love and joy that comes with being an Auntie! I already know you will be amazing with how loving and full of life of joy and how giving you are. As a mom of 2 littles, a good tip for a baby welcome basket is infant Tylenol, Aquafor, zarbies, and a bulb syringe for every room of the house. Then for momma baskets (if nursing), would recommend nursing pads, nipple cream, an enormous water bottle, middle of the night snacks and a Haakaa. I cannot wait for you to be a mom one day Remi. You’re going to be so amazing ❤

REMI. OMG. you making a basket for lily is SO sweet!! Most people just get stuff for the baby and I understand why but sometimes the mom just wants some extra love too 🥺 Lily and Shane are so lucky to have you as a sister! My three brothers were just like yay but also whatevs haha. If Lily is pumping or nursing those lactation bars are great! I also like the munchkin brand oatmeal chocolate chip ones too! I have a two month old now at 26 and I’ve been ebf (exclusively breast feeding) and it’s been a journey. With this new role there’s always gonna be new obstacles to overcome and hard times for sure but also such great amazing loving time! I have a boy as well! I think it’s boy season as so many other people I know recently had or are having a boy! You are gonna be the best aunt ever and Shane and lily have such an amazing support around them! Congrats lily! Pregnancy and deliver is so small feat! We were in labor for 22 hours LMAO.

Ah the baby shopping!!! So cute!! It’s also always great to get older sizes too. They grow out of 0-3 so fast you barely get to put everything you get for them on. 3-6 they stay in a lot longer cause a lot of babies will be that size at 1-2 months. Plus you just never receive as much in that size 😊

You're such a good auntie already ❤ just some advice from a mom, they outgrow their clothes so fast. It's actually better to get them clothes for 9-12months and up as these are the sizes they likely won't already have currently. Also, diapers & wipes are amazing. And make sure to treat mom too, she's going through a lot and just letting her know you care about her too is important! ❤

As a 1st time mommy my son was born taller than I expected so he only wore the NB size for a week. So don’t go so crazy with the NB size. Buy him size 0-3 and 3-6 the most. And lots of extra swaddles. They can get dirty quick and mommy can always have a clean one on deck. My favorite are the brand HALO and the weighted Nested one is great so baby feels like he’s been held all night. Remi tip for buying baby stuff always buy either starting at 3 months and up ! Most babies do not even fit in 0-3 month clothing or they grow out of them very quickly ! My friends baby was wearing 9-12 mo clothes at like 5/6 mo so sizing up is always good because they’re gonna grow into it!

When my son was born we REALLY loved the Velcro swaddles with the zippers at the bottom for easy changing (so you don’t wake them up in the middle of the night). We also loved the onesies with zippers because the buttons are a hassle when you have a screaming baby. You don’t really need much in the first few months. But it’s good you’re getting clothes and books the bb can grow into! Congrats!

Postpartum is so difficult so please check in every day or try to visit for short periods, bring warm food, healthy groceries. My family did all this and made it so easy for my husband and I 🫶🏻

As a mom of two I was always made sure my newborns we in one more layer of clothes than what I was wearing. Little mittens are also very useful so they baby doesn’t scratch themselves. Congratulations to your family for the new addition ❤

Just a tip, parents really appreciate the practical stuff not the cute stuff. We get 20 blankets and can’t use them all and really need more essentials like baby medicines, diapers, ask about clothes ranges they didn’t get instead of just buying etc. We get a lot of stuffies and that and it’s hard to put somewhere. Atleast that’s how it is with all the parents I know. Good to be more practical though and help parents with the real expenses like formula possibly or breastfeeding items.
