4:42 Those scary noises only ever play when a Maneater is enraged and close by in my experience, but they aren't very consistent. I think it happens when the Maneater is enraged, you've seen it enraged, and it is semi-far away. I've been wanting an upload of just the music, but I haven't found one yet :(

Ah good to know! I'll keep that in mind whenever my friends and I hear it next time. I legit got freaked out if there was a hidden mechanic for if you just hide and stay idle or something 😂 It did a good job getting me to freak out and start moving that's for sure.

@@shahs1221 I remember hearing it when I had brought the Maneater outside and was hiding in ship, and I might have heard it while in a mansion on Dine. The Maneater actually has lowered spawn rates on days where the interior isn't a mine, so I haven't seen it much in that scenario
