Go to The Shining or Poltergeist. Even Signs is one I like to go back to and rewatch just for fun. The original Ju-On The Grudge. While it is a very very low budget horror, it's a classic and they more than made up with scaring the crap out of me when I was 13. This movie was a lot more than a boy turning into a man, it’s about a boy overcoming his greatest fears, throughout the movie you learn what he’s scared of, like the beginning when he is scared of the needle or when he’s with his mother and freaks out over a spider, and when he is with his dad and doesn’t want to drive because he is scared, and throughout the movie he overcomes those things, like when they drew blood from him how he was completely still, and in the crawl space when there is spiders crawling all over his blanket and obviously the car through the house. Also you never talked about the wishes everyone wants, like how one of them wasn’t there for a wish but to just kill people for fun, and also how the ending explains how Bee has done the ritual before, and wished for immortality.
