It’s so odd he was like ”We’re just going to take it by day and that’s fine!” But then he immediately wants her to meet the family, and then they have another date and he’s hoping this date is all it will take for Cassie to fully fall in love with him. Then it’s immediately fantasy suite time. That isn’t “taking it by day by day ”. Thats going right back to bachelor formula, even if the proposal isn’t there, the idea of “falling completely in love” is. I don’t know how that isn’t pressuring. I hope their relationship is better in real life because in the show, it was just frustrating to watch.

I love the idea of Hannah as the Bachelorette. There is something so real about her compared to every other Bachelor and Bachelorette we’ve seen. It is awkward when first meeting someone you will potentially be spending the rest of your life with, it’s completely human. I am so excited for a season that feels real and relatable.

I wasn’t a huge fan of Hannah Alabama when the season first started. But she grew on me so much. I love how awkward and pure she is. Seeing how she was with the five bachelors she was introduced to was so cute. I’m seriously so so so excited for her season of the bachelorette. So excited for Hannah B as Bachelorette!! Sure, she was awkward on live tv, but aren't most people who aren't actors? I mean, we know she can do it because she was recorded doing confessionals and went on dates throughout the season and definitely grew more became comfortable with the process as it progressed. I'm sure she'll be practicing her toasts with the producers the next few days prior to this Saturday, when filming starts, and will be better at it soon enough. She probably was only one of the few women on this season who actually wants to be engaged and find the love of her life soon, and I feel like Hannah B being the lead will be refreshing and different from what we've had in the past! She'll be more relatable than other leads, is super funny, and she really believes in the process. I'm excited for her, and can't wait to watch her season! Some people say she's too young as 24, but there are 24 year old women who have the maturity to get married. I have two really close female friends who got married at 22 and are doing just fine today, also, a decent number of women and men from the South tend to settle down sooner. I have approximately 9 friends I met when I was in my pre-teens or early adolescence age, who have found their soulmate and are married and happy. Hopefully she finds someone who will fiercely love her!

AK Sonya I think the past few Bachelorettes have been everyone’s typical choice. Not that they didn’t deserve it or weren’t good Bachelorettes but Hannah is without a doubt the most relatable girl in years!! It’s very refreshing to see someone who isn’t your typical polished bachelorette up there! Caelynn, Taysha, and Hannah G would have been fine picks, but not near as relatable. Hannah B is exactly how most of the watching audience would be in her shoes! I love it!

I'm watching this season for the first time. The obsession with his virginity, with picking the "perfect" woman to take it, not respecting Cassie's boundaries starting with forcing her to go on a date when she was vomiting (which he recounts in fond detail in his book), to how he reacts to her breaking up with him, to shaking uncontrollably when she tries to leave him, to completely ignoring the feelings of the other women whose feelings he completely discounts because this is HIS love story (forget that he asked their dads for their permission barf), to getting so mad when Cassie leaves that he hits a camera and jumps an 8 foot fence and talks about it like it is a grand romantic gesture instead of a nonsensical act of physical aggression. The point is: this franchise is more fucked up than I realized. And that the producers were able to edit all of this to the point that the majority of the audience was on Colton's side and considered Cassie a "fame whore" (emphasis on whore)? Bachelor Nation, heal thyself.

Cassie saying she didn’t even really want to be in a committed relationship made me want to scream. Sis... YOU came on the show. AND you threw a little fit when people said you weren’t ready for marriage. I really want Colton to be happy so if he is that’s all that matters. Idk hopefully they prove me wrong. Cassie was honestly so frustrating this episode. I’ve been hot and cold with her, but her interactions with his parents made me wanna slap a trick. Like, even though she’s handled all of this terribly, I can’t fault her for her feelings. Why not just be like “I went in open minded, but struggled with the process, ultimately I need a little more time to get to know this person, maybe not ready to get married this second, but very much am excited to continue this relationship with someone I love.” Instead of the word vomit she gave them. She made herself look bad. Also, the Hannah B hate is gross. Someone being awkward isn’t grounds to hate them🙄

To be fair though, it’s probably much easier for us as the audience to see what was holding back Cassie. We get the benefit of seeing the whole season neatly edited to show her “journey” (ugh sorry, that word is so exhausting to say now). I imagine it’s hard to really know what you’re feeling in that environment. I mean towards the end it seems like you’re either on camera with a bunch of people around you or your completely alone with no idea what’s going on with everyone else (which is what Hannah G. said when she didn’t know he’d been on other fantasy suite dates, and it’s another reason why she was completely blindsided about the breakup). I’m not saying Cassie handled it the best, but it makes sense to me that she was so confused about the whole thing and couldn’t explain her thoughts very well.

Also, they tried making it very suspenseful, but they edited it WAY TOO much, which ended up being too dramatic and eventually annoying. To eventually find out that the scene was boring. I am trying to keep an open mind about Colton and Cassie's love story. When Jarrod changed him mind and came around to Ashley I. I said no way in hell, it has to be made up. Then I saw The story of Us came out and it changed my mind. We have no idea what happened behind closed doors with Cassie and Colton. I do not believe in Cassie’s affections. There’s a lot of pressure on her to be with the bachelor and it’s easy to convince yourself to be with someone. She never comes across as truly wanting Colton but she doesn’t want to reject him again and be a pariah.

Exactly! She came on a show that is about being engaged at the end.. Only to not be ready and unsure! She is in it for the exposure period! I give them 6 months at best. I never liked her from the beginning.

You do realize most of the episode last night happened last November, right? They had 4 months to grow their relationship and they clearly looked in love when we saw them last night. I just don't think Cassie is good at expressing her feelings, but you can tell by the way she looks at him.

Nahuel i do! but the body language is just iffy and she looks so amazed by the cameras and never Colton. i still wish them the best, but I do not think she loves him. just my opinion :)
