Exactly. I’m not a fan of Blake, but honestly what he did wasn’t really wrong. He was single. He didn’t handle things well by asking Caelynn to keep it a secret or calling her a mistake, but I also don’t think he meant it as maliciously as people are treating it, it was just poor wording. And after the texts between him and Caelynn came out, it’s pretty clear he wasn’t taking advantage of her or anything like that. But the fact that he released those private texts was another situation not handled well. My point being, his problem isn’t that he’s a player or intentionally leading women on or anything. He’s just immature and needs to learn to deal with things in better ways. He’s got a lot of growing up to do, but he isn’t a bad guy. That’s what I think anyway

To be fair (and I think this is partially why bachelor in paradise has legitimately successful couples post-show), even though they have only know each other for a week or slightly more, they literally spend all day/all hours together. In the normal world, you might be able to see someone just twice a week, so things move much more slowly. There was actually a study done about the way humans bond, and it has more to do with numbers of hours spent together total. Paradise is the real world time frame, but condensed.
