@birbdad1842 I actually disagree. I've gotten some solid damage on it, all things considered. Plus it's fast, and doesn't have much of an activation time. And it only takes one of ten needles to hit the target. Considering that they go in a circle, it's pretty good

I would be all over dex weapons aswell. But once in a time, I just need to bonk something really really hard, and thats hard to do on dex builds.. Hence why I went sacred, so I can use all classes of weapons effectively :D

Blood Malady with anime stance is about the only thing I have found that can trade with this setup at a higher percentage rate. The roll catch on the backhand blades is so deceiving. I could be in what I would normally consider complete position for the roll and it still catches me. You have to trade with them. Drives me insane

Use the Thrusting Shields to counter it. It works about 60% of the time against Swift Slash. Won't save you from Blind Spot though

I personally use spinning slash and stormcaller to counter it, particularly on halberd and greatsword.

I've been maining the BHB personally in my current run of ER and it's really strong. Keen affinity gives you S scaling in DEX, which is always nice and the fact that the weapon's attacks propel you forward does a lot for the weapon. It's nice to see that you don't spam the Ash of War like most people and showcase the other moves (which are surprisingly good).

Hello lost, Im a streamer who trys many weapon's out as well as games. I hope you read This. I see you want to test out hand to hand an i have some data you might be happy with. The hand to hand is a set of weapon's. dry leaf/Foot work. you can use each one separate for a different fighting styles but combing them gives you a hybrid between the 2 aka a 3rd fighting style. the footwork as your primary equip an dry leat off hand seem's to be the easyist method. Also some armors's buff damage yes. but no ones figured out other then me bryar greaves an glove's will cause extra damage with your punch an kick's by a extra +5 damage for each peace you have equip. making the base bryar armore to give damage apon rolling a 15 damage an a +20 damage on every punch an kick you thriow. I hope i helped. Also whele wind kick gets this buff as well. it just makes you really really heavy tho.

Didn't even consider that 😮. The armour may be heavy but the weapons themselves weigh very little, so it wouldn't take a lot of Endurance investment, although I'd recommend it for a decent amount of stamina. Thanks for the tips 🙏.

@@Gaiden-Shinji875 yea i love testing out stuff in fromsoft games. its such fun. light load takes 50-60 endurance for it but you can just wale on enemys. i love light load an med load if i have no choice. there is talisman's that help but i need those spaces for the other talisman's to do damage duff's.

I think Lost has the best invasion vids on KZbin. The fact that he includes plenty of failed invasions makes it so you don’t know if he’ll succeed or not. It keeps every invasion suspenseful.

Actually defeated an invader yesterday in a duel that resorted to Swift Slash as a last ditch attempt to win. He wasn't prepared for Endure mixed with Explosive Ghostlflame and a Savage Lion's Claw follow up.

Blind spot is so strong. It has very few weaknesses, one being you don't really want to trade into a colossal with it, you don't really get poise and that makes it dangerous, especially as an invader. The other is that the tracking, combined with the short reach of the blades, make it miss more than you would expect. Still, deployed strategically it is very very strong. Oh yes, aoe attacks work well against it too.

I'm really loving the Smithscript Cirques. Their throws have gotten better range and tracking now, so you can actually hit things with them! Before the 'nerf', they'd go right over the heads of anything human-sized, but now they can hit reliably. Really adoring a Deflecting Hardtear counter build with them against bosses for some truly silly ring-toss shenanigans.

Regular backhand blades do more damage. Smithscript Cirque was fixed. All the Smithscript weapons except the shield were fixed.

I used these to defeat Malenia without summons for the first time. They’re effective, and feel badass to use. Also, having the ability to charge, dodge, and attack with a single button press is super useful.

i have a build idea for pvp but idk if theres enough of a window to use it, its basically use the maddening hand ash of war to proc madness then swap to like the star fist with occult scaling and use the life steal fist thing to grab them, I'd have to test it myself but im not that far into the dlc yet

Yeah, it works against me aswell :D Even in PVE, I know how to cheese most bosses with cheap weapon tactics, spamming lions claws or golden land on my faith build, but I just find no fun in that even tho it works exceptionally well

try this build out: smithscript cirque (aow: swift slash, but if u are against this can use whatever it’s frankly not the focus of the build) smith script shield, quality build and quality smithing, 60/60 strength dex, blue dancer charm shard of Alexander, double turtle talisman, smithscript talisman. For armor the curse blade mask that gives 5 dex, and the ascetic armor. Lightweight build heavy damage focusing on r2s and jumping r2 with smithscript cirque, one hand the smithscript shield and use that as your ash of war, fan daggers and dragon harpoon throwing weapons. I have kind of made this my signature build, you’re weak to status effects and a bit of a glass cannon but the damage is insane and the playstyle is very fun to me

Yo Lost, If you wanna check the full damage of the weapon you got equipped, in the menu just press triangle or Y if you got Xbox controller. It shows all the damage and defences. Nice invasions ;)
