The creator of this room really missed the opportunity to use pool terms for the different zones in this floor. Instead of the “Safe Zone” and “Danger Zone”, they could have called them “The Shallow End” and “The Deep End”. Still, I love this level, it looks and feels much more ethereal compared to the rest of the Backrooms. Makes me want to make a small exploration game where you explore this floor. Also, fun fact, Jared Pike is also the guy who created all of the images of the Pool Rooms. He’s a 3D artist based in New York and has made a collection of these images he called “Dream Pools”. The poolrooms lore has become something really interesting for me. As of lately though, I have seen many people treat these like an alternate dimension to the Backrooms rather than a level in these. There is a footage where someone is seen accessing some sort of window in Level 0 that leads to a Poolrooms counterpart of this level. Or another one where someone is being stalked by a flat looking, black creature in the SAFE zone.

I just had a cool fan made level idea for the backrooms. Level 3,484 AKA “The Comms Tower” Class: Unknown Safe? Secure? Complete entity devoid Level 3,484 is the only level where you can shape parts of the earthly, real reality. From this level you can send messages to specific people on earth who aren’t in the backrooms. However, these messages are different, since they aren’t actual messages. Rather, subtle signals that the person receiving the message will get throughout their day. For example, if you wanted to send a message about chickens, the receiver on earth might subtlety get hidden clues about chickens all day. Level 3,484 is like a control tower, with lots of control panels and buttons. The tower is circular, with windows on all sides. Outside the windows is constant rain, with a slight fluorescent yellow glow to the drops. It’s speculated the rain is actually almond water, but there is no exit or entrance out of the watchtower. The only way to access this level is by finding a plane, any plane. Then, you have to smash the control panel of the plane. The hole that you just made will be like an entrance directly into level 3,484. However, be warned because that entrance can close. The rain inside of level 3,484 indicates a timer. When the rain stops, your gateway back to where you came from Will close until someone else makes another hole into level 3,484. On several occasions, a few members of MEG have brought back reports. There are no entities here that we know of. Also, we have no clue whether it’s safe or not. So far, there is nothing unsafe about it, except for maybe the rain. Is it safe to drink? It remains undetermined what class this level would be. Edit: also if anyone knows how to put something like this on the wiki it would be appreciated

My fan made level: “Blockbuster” It’s a blockbuster where it look normal but when you touch the door handle, you faint and end up in “Blockbuster” The danger levels vary from 0-3, depending where you are at. You walk through a vhs tape maze, and you hear voices at different directions, they’re not hostiles, the voices guide you where to go, this danger level is 0. You go deeper into the maze and you end up in a small room where there’s a door that leads you to a empty blockbuster store, and there’s a exit at the end but when you look behind you the walls are behind you, the walls close in and there is a entity there, it’s a black mist that will kill you if touched or inhaled, just run to the exit and don’t open the door, jump through the door, you’ll end up where you entered and you can get on with your day.

Level idea: level 492.7 This is a factory level and theoretically the source of almond water. The walls are tiled a dark grey color and the floor is a green carpet. You can find almond water in big storage totes. Although this level is filled with almond water, you can also find liquid pain, liquid silence, liquid sound, and lucky-o-milk. There are two entities on this level and the first is named C.E.O. It is unknown what c.e.o stands for, because it stands for something different. C.E.O doesn’t isn’t mainly hostile, but if you cause shenanigans, C.E.O will “fire” you and send you to level fun. C.E.O looks like a person with a suit on and Carries a briefcase around. Though his face is cut off. The next entities are workers. Workers basically just work, but these entities are holograms so you Can’t do anything to them. There are no bases here since the lack of any food. The Meg rating is 1 * not many entities * inhabitable space * safe & secure A way to get in this level is walking into any building in level 11 and say “take me to the factory.” A way to get out is by waiting 7 hours, then you have to find C.E.O’s office and telling him your shift is over. Then he will send you to a random level.

If and when you make another Fan-made Backrooms Levels video, here’s a level idea: Level 3618 “Flood Tower” Difficultly Class: 5 Extremely Unsafe Secure Minimal Entity Count Level 3618 is the 3619th level of the Backrooms. Description: Level 3618 appears to be a tower that stretches up over 17 trillion miles. Level 3618 is separated into three different zones, The Tower, The Halls, and The Room. The Tower can hold only one wanderer at a time, and when another wanderer enters The Tower, it will separate and create a new tower, which will hold that wanderer. The Tower will begin flooding shortly after a wanderer enters the zone. It starts as normal, non-harmful water, but eventually transforms into acid (33 thousand miles), then lava (66 thousand miles). The Tower reaches up over 300 thousand miles, and approximately at the 100 thousand mile mark, a door will appear. This door leads to The Halls. If you reach the top of the tower, you will enter a room that holds millions of bottles of Super Almond Water. The Halls appears to be an array of random halls that stretch about 3 thousand in all directions. If you happen across a door, pay attention to the color and label on it. If the color is black, with a label of a horse on it, the door will lead you to level 10. If you see a red door with another door labeled on it, it will lead to The Room. If the door is grey, and it has a city labeled on it, the door will teleport you to the Frontrooms, but in a dangerous area. The Room is 5 meters by 5 meters, and stretches up to infinity. The Room is the only zone in level 3618 where wanderers can see other wanderers. It holds a large supply of Almond Water, about 10,000 bottles, which restocks every 48 hours. Entities: Dummies, Partygoers, The Thing Dummies are human-like creatures, and CANNOT BE TRUSTED. Dummies can be seen traversing the tower, trying to reach the top. The Dummies, if you come in contact with one, will almost always push you into the flood. There is a large amount of these Dummies The Thing is located at the top of the tower, along with the Super Almond Water supply. The Thing tends to help wanderers get down back to the door that leads to The Halls. Colonies & Outposts: Climbers, M.E.G. Base Unknown The Climbers are located with The Thing, and are a group of 10 people who mean no harm to people who reach the top. M.E.G. Base Unknown is located in The Room, and holds 25 people. They study the effects and properties of Level 3618. Strangely, M.E.G. Base Unknown has no record of ever existing. Entrances and Exits: Entrances: You can no clip into this level by running at a wall in Level 69 Jumping into a manhole in the Frontrooms while being chased by either a chicken, cow, pig, or any other traditional farm animal. Exits: Walk through the black door with a horse in The Halls to get to level 10. Walk through the grey door with a city in The Halls to get to the Frontrooms. (I don’t have discord, so I put this here instead)

Man I was really hoping for more aquatic entities in the Backrooms xD but a glowing skeleton with a prosthetic limb is pretty cool. This actually gave me an idea for an entity I created! Or a fan made entity for this level specifically. It is a VERY long description I put a lot of thought into so I apologize 😅 The "Maidens" description; Some wanderers have also called them Sirens. They dwell in the deepest depths of the danger zone and appear as a ghostly woman with black hair long enough to hide They're faces. Wearing a white dress drenched in water. Skinny and slender. They will submerge themselves in the water with the last thing being seen is they're long hair disappearing into the chlorinated waters. An indication that they're in the area is you will hear a woman's hum in the darkness. Or in a corner of the danger zone see a black clump of hair floating in the water. Almost as if someone left a wig floating in a corner. The Maiden will then slowly rise from the water singing They're song and revealing themselves. How they hunt; They hunt by stalking a Wanderer slowly increasing they're fear. As they see a ghostly woman at the corner of they're eye and turn to see she has vanished. Maidens enjoy toying with Wanderers and love making them more paranoid and irritable. Once the wanderers sanity has reached its breaking point, a maiden will rise out of the water behind them singing or humming a song that paralyzes a victim with overwhelming fear. They will grab the victim by the face and aggressively pull them into the water breaking they're back or snapping back the neck and disappear. It doesn't matter how deep or shallow the water is. Once a Maiden has pulled you down in the water, you vanish. How to combat them: Maidens hate bright lights so if you have a flashlight or a light source and shine it at a maiden, they let out a scream and will vanish. Maidens also love music. If they hear music they will be in a trans state and hum along to the song quietly and leave the Wanderer alone. So if you have a music box or a device that plays music, your good. However they enjoy someone singing much more. If a Wanderer has a gentle and beautiful singing voice, Maidens will not only leave you alone, they will reward you! IF they enjoy your song. Maidens once sung to often give small vials of almond water, Liquid Silence and even full on squirt guns. If a Maiden REALLY loves your song, they will give you a rare item called "Maidens tears" appearing in a small vial as a clear liquid with a slight black tint attached to a necklace. If you splash this on yourself or wear it around your neck, hostile entities will see you as a fellow entity and be neutral around you. The liquid in the vial smells like wet dog though, so if you don't mind the smell you'll be well protected. Maidens also have been reported following behind wanderers and guiding them to the safest area of the level. YES you can tame a Maiden by singing to her. However this occurrence is very rare and you must be a very gifted singer to tame them. Once a Maiden is with you, others will leave you alone. They must stay in or around water. If a maiden is out of water or dehydrated for long periods of time, they will dry up quickly and turn into ash. This is however very rare and Maidens almost never leave the safety of the pool waters. If a maiden does not like your song, they will become enraged. Appearing from the water right infront of you moving they're hair revealing their face and rip out your throat. Everyone's a critic.
@eggo45652 жыл бұрын
Damn. This is so cool! I can imagine the maiden so clearly and if I saw it I would be petrified. So, is it worth playing music rather than singing in case it doesn't like the song??
@yaboyjosh30232 жыл бұрын
@@eggo4565 Playing music via a music box or device definitely is safer. Singing is more of a risk and reward situation with these entities. Singing is only absolutely necessary if you have someone in a group of wanderers that can sing well or if your music device dies.

My boyfriend showed me a video of poolrooms last night. And I said that I used to have a really vivid dream that looked just like that when I was about 11 or 12 and through my teenage years. Then he took me down the rabbit hole and I've been crawling out of my skin ever since. Found other levels I've "dreamt" of as well. But still the poolroom is the most prominent. I was always stuck in one room. And some man or something would never let me leave that room. It was a shallow kid pool with a rectangular indent in the wall next to a door like opening into a hallway of pool. I heard what I always interpreted as kids in the other rooms. But he would never let me leave. I went into this dream often. The most stand alone thing in it for me is that though the poolrooms are so similar and familiar, I dreamed of ballpit balls not water. But if I went under the balls I couldn't breathe like it was water. Never exactly the same from dream to dream. And it felt so real. So vivid that this dream still sticks in my head over 22 years later.

Same here! I always remember being somewhere like this when I was little, but my mum said we never went swimming outside, so no chance at all of sunlight hitting water like this. It's one of the strongest 'feelings' of a memory I have. I found this song a few years back kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJeZmHykYqhroNE and I loved it - not only because of the music itself but the image too. It triggered it in me the best it ever has, I HAVE been somewhere like the poolrooms. I remember the low-angled sun glistening off the peaks of the gentle waves. I remember somewhat brutalism architecture, tall walls, blue sky, being alone.. The freakiest thing about it was seeing a poolrooms post on Instagram a year or so ago and saw on there thousands of other people have had this experience too, spooky! and those pictures that Jared Pike created really made me feel the closest to this 'memory' I have ever been.

I guess I will do my level The name is “true cube” The class is undetermined This is a room of infinite cube shaped tiles everywhere made up of titanium but are not brake able. These cubes shift and move around so in some places you can climb into a cube but some cubes will be to far to climb. The farther you go from the center of the main cube the color of the titanium will become less saturated and more and more rusted it will get. The light source comes from lights that emit from the edges of the room. You can find objects from other levels randomly appear in some of these cubes. You always have the feeling that someone is right behind you like when you can sense someone is about to jump scare you. There are thin cracks between the cube tiles where a unknown gases emits that cause devastating effects if you stay in this level for to long like extreme nausea, extreme tiredness, and overheating in the body. This is when “the harvester” a 5 meter entity that comes and snatches your body when you are at your weakest and cleans it to the bone. This entity has a long thin body with its arms touching the ground with huge claws with long finger nails and black hair that touches the ground with grey moldy skin and a face that is missing that is just filled in with skin with random veiny eyes scattered around its body. You can also hear noises from any level if you listen from behind the cube walls. You can get here from any level. There is a very rare chance you find a perfect cube shape that is textured by what it is connected to. When you touch this cube you faint and appear in the true cube. To leave you must find a cube missing in the rooms. Crawl through this hole and this will send you to any level that has no entity’s. Wanderer’s very rarely come back from this place and when they do they hallucinate the harvester forever.

Hard tile materials like concrete or marble amplify sound, but foam and other soft materials dampen sounds. My thoughts and theories are the safe zone has a hydrophobic material on its walls that is similar to foam and works like foam, and the danger zone has harder marble walls. There isn’t a way for marble tiles to absorb and dampen sounds in the safe zone. And the danger zone’s walls are actually colored black, with minimal light making them appear blue.
