I loved the Episode. It felt a little like one of the good old political Clone wars episodes. It showed how the empire took over Ryloth, and continued to tell the Syndulla Rebel story.

@@yodaimpostor4781 Exactly. Bad Batch is supposed to be for the bad batch. It isnt the clone wars, where the focus is to show the war in all its aspects. I like this episode. The way Hera reacted seeing the Bad Batch shows the presence that they have and her interacting with Omega. I mean for me it got tastes of the Mandalorian of course because of the Blurgs and Rebels because of Hera, BUT. hear me out. It also got Star Wars Force Commander vibes which is incredible awesome. Like They did that easter egg from the Republic Commando (another Star Wars classic) in the episode where Bane shot Hunter. Here, the chase scene at the end it felt a lot like the first mission of the rebels campaign (from Force Commander) when you (Bran Tantor) defected from Empire and had to rescue some prisoners. That imperial guy (can't remember his name) actually looks a lot like Bran's brother (Delis Tantor). Not to mention the bridging moments between this show and other Star Wars timelines. My very 1st thought when the episode started and I saw that crowd I though "well, this is a filler episode like the previous one". And it was. At least from the point view of the Bad Batch's plot development. But when you can put your finger and identify the source material from where Dave Filoni (it has to be him) got the inspiration from the episode, it's so satisfying...Sure you can be a kid and watch these animations and enjoy the pure artistic process. But for me, this is the living legacy of my childhood experience. This is the genuine vision of Star Wars at its apex. The vision of George Lucas! Really man a 4/10? wtf I'm out of here . You clearly do not understand Star Wars at it's most. Sorry to tell you bro. It's funny how I was so pissed about this show not being about Republic Commando but about this bad batch guys. But the context in which it happens is epic. Dude it's like f-ing watching the 1st episode of season 2 of the mandalorian and not knowing that the source material for it was kotor one...omg.

In my opinion, Clone Force 99 could've used more screen time.

In a way, I kind of see the opportunity in a kind of episode like this where they don’t get too much screen time to set up the boba v bane arc and not have it be so off from the shows pacing.
@viceadmiralrampart3212 жыл бұрын
@@iluvalmondmilk7439 Yes, I see why they would do that.

That coupled with the fact, it does seem to the a two parter, so they could be setting up more of a role for the next episode, but hey i enjoyed it haha

36:58 Lol dude how did u missed so much? This episode was great. What about the new clone commander Howzer? He doesnt really seems like he is unter control of the inhibitor chip.

I was so excited when i saw Chopper and Hera. I know some people was upset cause it was less Bad Batch more of "Rebel Episode" but i do like origin stories and i am curious to see what happens next

We saw that the clones are susceptible to rebelling when they rebelled against Pong Krell
@Gameguy-gk8lx2 жыл бұрын
Those clones didn’t have their inhibitor chips active though. They rebelled of their own free will, which clones with active chips do not have. I don’t think Howzer’s chip is active, or at least is only barely active.

The cinematic aspect of this was very nice I thought. It also was a deep dive into character development. We maybe tie some things together here. This may be a pivotal connection for the Omega storyline and I think people will see that later.

8/10 for me I LOVED being back on Ryloth and seeing it early empire also I like how they show Howzer displaying independence so maybe his chip isn’t all the way active and he could get it removed. I really enjoyed meeting heras mother. And the assassination of Ohm Fre Tah(however u spell it) was so cool. I wish the bad batch had seen more screen time, but I think we needed this episode to set up a bigger arc w the boys and omega

there’s still about 2 and a half hours of the show left, maybe more with a longer finale. I want it to get going too but there’s still a full movie length left to unfold and we’ve come a long way

There is a chance that the chip is wearing off and that many of the clones will soon be facing some internal conflict. This could set up a potential clone uprising.

I actually really loved this episode. In my head through the entire episode I just kept repeating that THIS is Star Wars. The music and visuals and the emotion you feel for the characters having to deal with how cruel the Galactic Empire is becoming at this point in the story. 7.5/10 for me. Felt like a solid Clone Wars episode.

It shows a lot about how and why the empire replaced clones. Clones arent loyal to the empire but are made to. The remorse in the clones faces in contrast to the humans recruited is interesting to me. It shows the main reason to changing to recruits instead of keeping clones. Also people are befriending the clones because of the war like we see with Howzer and Hera's dad. Didnt feel like a bad batch episode. But it wasnt bad.
