I think the assassin is Cody. Remember how Crosshair said they couldn’t convert him into an assassin because of their altered DNA. They couldn’t get Crosshair, so how could they get Tech?

@@tonyflores984 Also I saw someone pointed this out, but when Crosshair scanned a thermal reading on the assassin, you can see that they have prosthetic legs. This could be someone completely new, however... perhaps it is Tech, and Hemlock had to give him prosthetic legs after the fall. In all honesty though, I really have no clue who the assassin is.

I think the assassin is a clone of crosshair. They have some connection and the dude kind of talks like crosshair under the voicechanger. Crosshair's full redemption will come in the form of killing the clone, aka his "dark side" , possibly via self sacrifice to save someone.

I think it's Tech but he's brainwashed. If you paid attention, the way he treats his injuries was similar to Tech's leg injuries back in season 2. His groaning sounds do sound quite similar to Tech.

Great video! My theory is that the inhibitor chips have less of an effect as time goes by, which would explain why wolffe seems more reasoned when he talks to Rex. (Instead of specific clones able to resist more)

This episode was amazing! The music score with the Assassin gave off Terminator 1984 vibes and the way he tracked the bad batch was similar to how the Terminator tracked down Sarah Connor. It was great to see Rex and Howser and also nice to see Wolffe as well.

I don’t think the clones with Rex are 501st. They could be every unit. The markings even tell. Also there is only one commando with wolf. The others are normal clones lol. Also the clone commanders and captains had special training and are more individual then the normal clones. I think that’s why they can reasoning better with their chips still in their head.

Small error: at 1:43 you say Rex works with former 501st clones. But looking even more closely, the clones are a ragtag group of various other divisions and battalions, with a 81st maroon, various 41st greens and even 212th orange. The only clone that may fit as a 501st member is Samson, as his colour scheme is a dark, vibrant blue. Either way it doesn't matter cause they're all gone🫡

I'm not convinced the second Assassin clone is Cody. Remember he went awol after the mission with Crosshair in season 2, and I don't think it's tech either, he's defective so the brainwashing wouldn't work, as Crosshair said they tried it on him.

Awesome Video!!! OMG THESE TWO EPISODES WERE ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!!!! Definitely My Favorite Episodes of The Season so far, And some of My Favorites of The Entire Show! It Was So Great To See Rex And Howzer Again!!! Rex will always Be My Favorite Clone, And Howzer has also quickly become One Of My Favroites! And I Loved It When Howzer Saved Crosshair from drowning. It was a big moment for Howzer, Who didn't trust Crosshair at the Beginning of these Episodes, But then ended up Saving Him in the end. And Wolffe returning was very surprising, But So Cool to see Him again! The moment when Rex Convinced Wolffe to stand down and let them go was So Perfectly Done! I Really Hope We see Wolffe and The Bad Batch Join The Clone Rebellion and Fight Against The Empire!!! These Two Episodes Were Just Amazing!!! This Season Has Been Fantastic So Far!!! I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE NEXT EPISODE!!!!!! FORRRRRR THE REPUBLIC!!!!!!

I think that assassin is neither cody or tech. I think it is another clone with augmentation fton Crosshair, especially after he said they tried to turn him into one of their assassins. While they may have failed with Crosshair, its possible they utilized whatever they learned from him during their experiments on Tantiss and imbued it onto this currently unknown clone.

I lean toward the Tech or Cody theory -- but he does have an uncanny similarity to Crosshair. Something is definitely up with that assassin clone. Teth was such a surprising and meaningful choice for Rex' base. The Battle of Teth at the beginning of the war was such a horrific bloodbath. Only 5 of Rex’ men survived. To return and live there would have been surreal. Feels like coming full circle. I will note that Rex seems to have laid out a well planned escape route. He was not about to let him and his men be trapped in that spire again like he was with Ventress and her clanker hoard. . . . Speaking of coming full circle . . . very curious how they bring her in.

I think a lot of the clone commanders are the ones who can resist the most because they've been clones longer and have formed an identity of their own and bonds with the Jedi. I don't know for sure if once they make a clone they can give him the title of Commander right away cuz I know Rex worked his way up to it, so I just feel like that might be why the commanders are usually the ones who can resist the best. They essentially grow a conscience.

I think the operative could very well be a clone of Crosshair. Which could be what the they used him for on Tantis and might explain why he lost his steady hand. The operative has a very similar build to Crosshair, he shoots/ snipes well and his armor is also reminiscent of Crosshairs.

That Imperial clone agents are called Clone X troopers (credits). I thought they will be called Shadow Troopers (would be cool easter egg to Legends version), when they were referenced in episode as Shadows. I also thought that Shadow who had most screentime is brainwashed Tech. He probably lost some of his limbs after the fall and he has cybernetic ones now. Also in next episode when he fall in watefall, i was like.. is that reference to Tech's fall to his ""death""? :)

I think tech makes a lot of sense as this clone at the beginning but Cody would be very cool. Having some of crosshairs ability would make sense as to why he is not on their list. However, we know this is because crosshair doesn’t have Michelin’s and Omega will turn out to be force sensitive I believe. Either way this show is much better than the live action we’ve been getting.

They weren't 501st clones, because the last time Rex saw them, was on the Venator, or at least the sub division that was formed by them at least for Ahsoka. Maybe there is one in there in that blue armour, but the others are in different divisions. One of them is from Commander Gree from what it looks like. (I love this extra rogue gear they put over their uniforms)

I think the second assassin is CMD Cody. The first assassin didn't have a vsor attached to his helmet. The second assassin has, just lik Cody had on his clone armor.

No that is a different guy. This is the one from bad batch season 1. In tales of the jedi dooku goes to Raxus secundus in the third episode but that senator gets killed. The one you are thinking about is a very different senator. Who would probably be ancient at the time of the bad batch.

It makes sense that while the mental markers would still be there, the effect on loyalty (or inability for that loyalty to be shaken) that the chips would have will certainly have worn off by now. Yo champ check this out we know palpatine & Vader are hunting the jedi an Force sensitive people Darth Maul was a sith an Rex ordered him killed during order 66, now I know the empire wants Omega because of her M count Omega because of her M count, and now I'm wondering if ventress is going to be the one to explain what the M-Count is to the bad batch, I think also I think the bad batch is going to try and hide on Dathomir. Since all the night sisters are dead, and I think that's where they're going to run into ventress, also I don't think ventress will be working for the empire as a bounty hunter since they're trying to kill all Force users, I think ventress is going to fight against Chad Bain to try and save Omega, also wouldn't that be something if ventress tried to teach Omega how to use the force !! Anyways what do you think!!
