This is a clip for my trilogy of Star Wars: The Bad Batch film edits covering the entirely of Season 1, with each film running between 2-3 hours in length and cutting the arcs together seamlessly. Much like the first extended episode, many of the season's episodes transition into one another seamlessly, just like with the Clone Wars supercuts projects I released throughout 2020 and 2021. Like with previous releases, these are in 4K HDR and 1080p releases of all 3 cuts.

Sure they have mutations but they likely went through similar tactical training. It shouldn’t be a surprise they were holding their own against regular clone commandos I still think Echo had a chance to say "Wait! Unfortunately, no, this is NOT Scorch from Republic Commando. This is one of the biggest misnomers in the community right now, even when the episode first came out. This character is meant to resemble a clone commando, but not represent Scorch himself. Scorch exists in canon, and was shown in the Clone Wars series, but this character is NOT him. Scorch and this Commando both have different color patterns on their armor, and the official Star Wars website denounced this fact too. In the official Episode Guide for this episode in particular, the text says: "One of the commandos seen in this episode was designed to resemble RC-1262, a.k.a. Scorch, from that game". 'Designed to resemble' =/= *is that character* By canon definition, these two are not the same. Head-canon is perfectly fine, and I'd really want to say this is Scorch too, but that just isn't reality.

@@askjeevescosby2928 I think there's several actually pragmatic reasons for why they phased out clones. 1. Clones are VERY expensive to make, with the Death Star being built, that would need to priority in funds, leaving less funds going towards cloning and training the clones which would make up their military in this scenario. 2. Training clones takes a LONG time compared to regular people. If we assume they were to use clones that age at the same rate as Jango clones, then it'd take like a minimum of 9-10 years to train them. That's a helluva lot longer than like 6-12 months of training for the average soldier, with maybe a few years, if even that, for some of the more elite groups like the death troopers. 3. There really isn't a need for so many elite soldiers like the clones after the empire took over since the galaxy is mostly at peace. The CIS was demolished and aside from some scattered groups of rebels, there weren't really that many problematic groups of enemies for the empire that would warrant elite fighters. The empire fell entirely because they got complacent and let the rebellion fester in their midst, not because of the quality of their soldiers.

I love how it shows the clear skill gap between the recruits and the commandos. When the smoke bombs are thrown the recruits just stand there while scorch is ducking for cover. As when the TK troopers give chase they’re just running through and scorch is constantly ducking and weaving to avoid being hit. Then he pull that creative move to get ahead of the bad batch. It just clearly shows the disparity of the level of training and skill between the clone commandos and the TK troopers

I think it is a Schrödinger's scorch situation. Disney wants to leave the door open to make republic commando 2 if they think it will make them cash, so until they decide they want to make that or make delta squad the villains for a bad batch season the commando from that episode is in limbo. If they do the bad batch root, its been scorch all along. If they decide they want scorch for something else, then the commando in that episode is scorch’s batch brother scotch

Meeber Gascon (the little frog guy) debriefed them on what happened and the Republic more than likely sent a team to recover his body as well as scope what was going on on that planet since there was separatist involvement. Gregor was wearing full katarn commando armor during that fight so he was protected from the majority of the explosion.

Something I only noticed after rewatching a Rebels clip is that when Rex speaks to the Ghost crew he says “meet Commanders Wolffe and Gregor.” Yet Gregor is only a Captain in TCW and TBB. So did he get promoted at some point by the Empire? Or was that a mistake in the Rebels script they are going to ignore from now on? I’m leaning towards the latter, because he’s a Captain at this point when he defects, but you never know…

He probably got promoted just like Rex got promoted to Commander right before order 66 but he got "demoted" by Jesse. I always thought that was interesting how Rex took the demotion and became Captain again even though there really was no basis for him to listen to Jesse. Maybe Rex did it to honor his men in a way after they died in the crash. He felt responsible for their deaths so he accepted the demotion as a punishment 🤔🤔🤔. Sorry I got completely off track 😂😂😂

4:19 THIS! This is what we need so badly in more media! The villains pulling off cool, cunning manuevers that show us that they're capable fighters too! Even if he ultimately gets put done, it shows off how cool the heroes are by beating him and even emphasizes how tough Gregor is. Not once did we see any cool examples of any of the Bad Batch doing cool shit like this again. Wrecker picked up like 3 heavy things and not one of them was nearly as cool as him lifting and throwing that giant ass gunship in their intro. Tech and Ekko became glorified R2D2s who just hacked stuff. Hunter hasnt used his knife to do anything cool even once in like 3 seasons and his 6th sense is used like twice right before they get ambushed anyways.
