So remember way back during season 1 episode 14, when Hunter fell a long distance and Ken said "Apparently in Bad Batch there's no fall damage." That was a painful statement to hear, knowing that this scene would eventually be coming.

@@Mintis-bh4rr Saw is the single biggest threat to the Rebellion, he is arrogance and incompetency to the max. He consistently carries out plans that accomplish nothing and get dozens, hundreds, or even thousands of good people and Rebels killed. He's an absolute joke of a character, he sucks and every time he survives a situation the galaxy suffers. Also he was directly involved in this situation, in fact he directly caused it. Proving how pathetic, disgraceful and worthless he is for the umpteenth time.

Omega and her sister are made from Jango Fett like the rest of the clones. It's just that the genes were modified heavily much like the Bad Batch was.

A really great episode. Keep in mind that the fates of all the Bad Batch members is unknown at this point, meaning that since we've never seen them in any future stories, any of them could be lost at any time. As evidenced by Tech :( The next season has some pretty dark and serious moments. I can't wait for you to get to them!

Dee Bradley Baker is the GOAT when it comes to voice acting. You can hear the devastation and terror in Wrecker's voice when plan 99 happens. You also feel like giving him a hug too throughout this episode. Also, remember how when they rescued Gregor, it took several stun rounds to take down the Clone Commandos? The fact that it took so many to take down Wrecker and he was still wearing casts to heal from his injuries showcases how physically strong he is. 11:00 I love the detail that he can just easily break out of his restraints. And then you see him getting punched once but then he knocks out the commando with a single counterpunch.

Took me a time to digest his death because of the suprise, peak star wars Ceed was foreshadowed to betray the entire season yet not so badly And yep there are a lot clones which chose to follow with blind loyalty the empire😢

13:30 "That episode sucked! I mean, it was great... but it sucked!" At least you can watch the next season immediately. We had to wait a while after we got Empire Strikes Back vibes from this season finale.🤣🤣🤣Your words sum it up perfectly. Fun personal story, early in the beginning of 2024: My fiancee and I met Dee Bradley Baker and it was fantastic to meet him. Of course, we mentioned we were still depressed from this season finale. He spoke in the voice of Tech to us and everyone in line and said, "Do not feel sad. I calculate that things will be better soon. Wait and see." A few days later, the teaser trailer for Season 3 of the Bad Batch was announced. Without spoiling or saying too much, he made a lot of us feel hyped up and better.

Oh man, this episode still hits as hard as the first time I saw it. Now you know why there were so many moments with Tech this season; they wanted to build his character up so they could stab us in the heart at the end. I'm sure there were some people that predicted Tech's fate while they were watching, but I sure as hell didn't. I was definitely in denial when I first saw this episode, so I know how you're feeling Bethany. I have more thoughts on it, but I'm afraid I might spoil something if I keep talking, so I'll change the subject. I told you guys that you weren't going to like Cid when this episode comes up. It doesn't matter how remorseful she feels, she betrayed the Batch after they suffered a massive loss, she is an awful person and, at least in my eyes, can't be redeemed. And we can't go without mentioning the reveal that Emerie is, in fact, another clone. This was another bombshell I never saw coming when I first saw the episode. We don't really know much, but we do know that she lived on Kamino for a time but eventually left and was taken in by Dr. Royce Hemlock. She was aware of Omega while she was on Kamino, but it is unlikely they ever interacted considering Omega didn't recognize her. As far as we know, she and Omega are the only two clones who were modified to be female from the start (from "birth" so to speak). The only other instance of a female clone is a trooper named Sister, a transgender woman clone who served in the 7th Sky Corps that appeared in the novel Queen's Hope by E.K. Johnston and the novel Brotherhood by Mike Chen, where she was seen fighting alongside both Obi-Wan and Anakin during several missions in 22 BBY. At least by being captured and taken to Tantiss Base, Omega got to be reunited with Crosshair, regaining a brother after losing one. Well, I think that's enough rambling for now, let's move on to the fun facts. We only have a few today, so it won't take long. First, we get the return of AZI-3 in this episode. It seems that he was left behind at Cid's parlor on Ord Mantell before the Batch decided to cut ties with her. I'm not sure if they did it on purpose or not, but I was worried about him when I was first watching this season; I'm glad he's doing okay. We, unfortunately, get to learn another one of the Bad Batch's numbered plans with Plan 99. As we saw in the episode, Plan 99 consisted of a member sacrificing their life for the sake of their squad in the event of the squad's safety being in jeopardy. The only other thing I can think of is the introduction of a new Imperial vehicle. The walker Echo and AZI hijack to rescue Hunter and Wrecker is an All Terrain Armored Cannon (AT-AC), making its first and, to date, only appearance in this episode. Part of the All Terrain series of vehicles used by both the Republic and the Empire, it seems to be a predecessor to the All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST) which we saw both on Hoth in Empire Strikes back and, more notably, on Endor in Return of the Jedi (Chewbacca steals one of them with the help of a couple of Ewoks). We don't know for sure, but it can be assumed that it is made by Kuat Drive Yards, the maker of both the AT-AT and the AT-ST, along with the AT-RT, the predecessor of both the AT-ST and the AT-AC that we saw numerous times during The Clone Wars. Well, that's all I've got for this episode. We're now all done with season 2 of The Bad Batch! We've only got one more season to go and then it's off to Star Wars: Rebels! Season 3 is already shaping up to be a real fun ride, and I can't wait to see how you guys like it. I'll see you next week for episode 1, "Confined" and episode 2. "Paths Unknown." This also showed something extremely dark about Cid: she may actively like you, but she will ultimately choose to throw you under the bus to save herself. She may feel bad afterwards, but she made that choice in the first place. And if you prove a scummy gangster who bullies people right, you've done something WAY wrong.

Yeah, this was one of those episodes that really leaves you with a huge pit in your stomach... We lose Tech, Cid betrays the group to the empire, Omega is captured, and, worst of all, it was the season finale.. You can imagine how agonizing the wait for season 3 was, for all us who watched it during the original run...

Sorry folks, Tech is gone. His final line is one of Dee's favorites. If I lived in the Star Wars universe, I'd be racist; I'd never trust a Trandoshan or a Quarren. You guys really managed to align the heartbreaking finales, with both Avatar Season 2 and this so close together.

Sadly, this is where I'm going to have to stop watching reactions for about 8 weeks. Due to catching a severe case of unemployment, I had to cancel my Disney+ subscription, and I haven't watched season 3 yet. I agree they should have not put to much trust in cid and just cause you had a mission. Who cares about that anymore and by then they should of just forget about it. Obviously cid is and was just using them for money to benefit out of her buisness as long she gets her way and to keep her buisness. Knowing how half of the missions weren't successful except for a couple or so just in season 1. So the whole friendship nonsense is pointless and doesn't make sense she doesn't care about them. As she's just using them. And It's only for the long run. If they can give her good buisness and that's all she cares about. Cause she's selfish and greedy and cares about herself. It wasn't wise to to trust her that much to begin with. Knowing from the Beggining how she says " i'm good with keeping secrets" was so sketchy and shaddy. They should of like f it we already failed 1 and 2 they have the empire after them since cause of Saw compromised the mission and 3 they lost Tech. They should of went to Pabu and make certain they are not being tracked. And stay hiding with Phee. Who they should of truasted more cause that gang of smugglers that seems worse then Cid. Which is kinda true but they are smart and cause they went way back with cid . Which isn't the time to be guilable and naive. As It's Star wars and far far away and a big and dangerous place. As they are also ones that have warned them and obviously wern't lying. As Cid doesn't keep her word unless if theres something in it for her. Cause man this annoys me actually. That this isn't smart in the first place, like they need to be smart with this when dealing with smugglers, con artists of a bar buisness. Even Han Solo would know this. That would have a bad feeling about this. That something doesn't feel right. That something feels off. Even a jedi say " if" thier lucky to have Ashoka to help somehow. And she would of sensed something is bad news with Cid , wouldn't need a reminder to warn. Even if she comes off that she means well.She'd double cross to save her buisness and her own skin. If you don't actually help her if she don't get what she wants. Not going care about what they want. Unless they come in clean handed and suceed. Honestly a waste of time and she's a scammer. And its been said in a video that it's a possiblity she planned this to see if they might fail somehow and she's not honest. She could have been setting them up from most of all of it. An which gets to my point with Echo I am sorry to say for Hunter he was right all along. That they should be doing more. And mayby not doing missions for Cid instead. And Omega shouldn't have to worry about it that much. As he knows and she knows will be able help them and assist and she can be safe. As they could of done that he whole time instead of wasting time with cid and just do that while go to Pabu where phee is throughout the seasons. But of course maybe just the sisters they can just go to for. Since that's how they got conected with Rex. But wished there could of been another way instead of those pointless missions.

Honestly never was a fan of cid and I hope if she ever pops up again in future stat wars shows/movies she doesn't get a redemption. Yes everyone deserve a shot at redemption but not everyone get redeemed
