I'll start with something funny. Honestly, I'm surprised you didn’t notice Krell’s eyes- orange = dark side user. How did Krell fall? In the story of his character, there are a few plot holes, but they can be overcome with a simple analysis of his character. Let's start with the times before the Clone Wars. Krell wasn't always evil. In fact, before the Phantom Menace, he could be considered a perfect Jedi Knight. His age clearly indicates that he knew Dooku when he was still a Jedi. We can only speculate how much he agreed with Dooku's opinions about the Jedi Council's decisions, but personally, I believe he agreed with Dooku on most matters. Dooku left the Order and became a Sith, but Krell remained in the Order and probably became slightly critical of the current state of the Jedi Order. Then came the Clone Wars. Despite significant losses, Krell was considered a good leader and still seen as a great Jedi. However, this is where his change began, and he started to become fanatic. From the beginning, he wasn't a fan of the war against Dooku. He wasn't a fan of the clones and didn't consider them equal to himself; he treated them more like droids. Krell simply didn't understand and didn't want to understand that the clones, just like anyone else, are living beings and should be treated with respect. (In the canon, there's a story that Krell reacted poorly when Yoda and Plo said that clones should be treated as individuals. He didn't say anything, but his face showed outrage.) Additionally, we can suspect that Krell saw the secret (this army appeared out of nowhere, and supposedly a Jedi who is no longer alive was behind it). Krell saw that the Jedi were heading for a downfall and warned the Council about their decisions. The Council ignored his words. The final steps were two events: Krell had a vision where he saw what he suspected. The Jedi would lose this war, and a new power would rise. This vision intrigued him but also corrupted him completely. Krell believed that this new power would be Dooku's victory, and he wanted to join him. After hearing about Ventress's "death," Krell intended to show Dooku his allegiance through sabotage, and after the Battle of Umbara, he planned to be captured and recruited by Tyranus. He wanted to become a new apprentice and, together with Dooku, create a new power. Simple logic: "The Jedi don't want to save themselves, so I have to save myself and actively take part in what's going to happen." Of course he was wrong because the vision he saw was Palpatine's triumph and rise of the Empire. What will happen to the clones after the war? This question will be answered by Bad Bach and potentially next series that we will get in next year.

the republic and Jedi suck at their jobs, how do you think he's a good general if he lost way more soliders especially compared to someone like Anakin and Obiwan. It's CRAZY. When it come to his vision, I would respect him if he actually left, he the time to put a plan together and just hide somewhere and make a new order.

The reason why I support the Separatists so much is because this show and the prequels show you how effed up the Republic really was, it's the story of a once righteous democratic institution now turned corrupt due to its nepotism and the jedi's involvement in it's politics Krell is a symptom of that, the power that destroys the jedi and the Republic from the inside in his visions it's obviously the Empire even if he didn't know it, and his self preservation took him down to a path of darkness. His story is a microcosmos of the Republic itself
