Notice how his lights appear to flash, they really don't. Cameras tend to see some LEDs as flashing due to their frequency. When you are behind them the lights usually never seem to flash like that.

Every time I see a CLA (aka the 'I-can't-afford-a-Mercedes') it's being poorly driven. I don't know what it is about cheap luxury cars like it that make the drivers drive so poorly. And if someone or their passenger points or gestures at me that they want over like the Range Rover driver, there's a 0% chance that I'm letting them in.

Traffic backups in Jacksonville is sometimes worse than in Los Angeles. Los Angeles takes more time to study and travel along the side streets than Jacksonville.

Have you ever had one of those freeway drives where everyone is driving terribly in the same specific way (driving too slow in the fast lane then unconsciously speeding up when you try to pass them one day, then another day continuously driving on the lane separator), like they are one mind?Weather's a factor, and time of day, traffic level, area of city, but maybe something more psychic too? Happens to me all the time, but maybe I'm just looking for patterns like a crazy person. Anyway, thank you for these cathartic videos!!!

😂most was pretty accurate. A few I would contest though the driver making a right on the left lane was in the correct lane the arrows show striaght or right and the driver who did a right turn had the right of way before anyone making a left. but i loved the video. Im an La driver and tbh sometimes its so congested and riddled with aggressive drivers It can cause me to make split second desicions which can put me in compromising situations lol. So on occasions I can be the bad driver as well.

What is the camera you are using? The picture quality is very good and I also don't see that fisheye effect that some of them have. I have a Vicovation Marcus 4 and while it too has great picture quality it has a fisheye effect. It is not as bad as some action camera fisheyes but it is noticeable on mine.

I use the Black Box G1W dash cam... However, there are multiple variations of them, I'm not sure which one specifically I bought. I did pick it because I thought the quality of the videos looked good.

I had a G98C (like a GS98C but no GPS mouse included) and it died in two or three months. That had really nice picture quality too. I might even still get another one if I ever need a cheap dash camera. The only problem was that the screen was not working. The bad thing about that of course is I can not tell that it still is working. I had a Cobra CDR 820 as my first dash camera and the picture quality was not all that great but 1080p. It had a nasty habit of turning off silently and unexpectedly. That is bad because you need a camera that hopefully worked in that one critical moment. There were other Cobra dash cameras that had the same problem. Its lens was not a good wide angle and to read a license plate you almost have to rear-end someone to get it to be legible.

Jeez, LA needs local high-speed rail. People could roll their bicycles onto the train, then roll off later and bike to their destination. I've lived in Santa Barbara and San Diego counties, but luckily avoided living with that kind of traffic.

1:34 - Most homeless people in my opinion, remain homeless because they don't want to work and would rather do drugs and alcohol, or have a legit mental illness. In her case, I think she represents the minority of the homeless population. She's willing to work, accepts gift cards instead of just cash, which says a lot about her situation. It says that she probably does not have a substance addiction, since homeless junkies want cash only and handouts, instead of being willing to work. And she seems legit down on her luck and needs some sort of temporary boost to get her out of the hole. I doubt she'll be homeless for long. Excellent clips! All those bad drivers were pretty angering.

Some states now have a device that they can plug into your phone if you had an accident to see if your accident was caused by distraction. I am not sure how well that works on flip phones like mine that don't run Android or iOS. Mine is such a basic one that it runs an operating system known as Brew MP. While it is open source, there are very few apps for it that I can see and it is an OS found on many cheap phones. It works well but it is very basic. The device that they are using to look into your phone is known as the Textalyzer. I don't believe that it collects any real data except your swipes and taps. It might collect other stuff but that is unknown at the time and collecting that other stuff without our knowledge may open the manufacturer of the device and its users to some sort of liability for failure to disclose it. I have mixed feelings about that device because while it can help prove that someone distracted caused an accident , there is a question of privacy on what exactly the device collects from our phones.

I was driving in LA 3 weeks ago I've learned you must follow closer then average because it's an opportunity for some fucker(s) to sneak in. Another is to never follow the limit and you must be aggressive too because no one let's you in.
