It's hard to tell just from this, but it sounds like they were originally planning to have the entire team genuinely trying to turn good instead of it being an act for a heist. If that's the case, I wonder how far into production they changed this. Wolf wanting to be good but feeling peer pressure from the other Bad Guys is a major conflict in the final film, so a version without it would look very different

In this version, they are 100% accurate on what they do in the books. But it might be a bit off and kinda cliche in my opinion. In the final production, I like it because they are inspired from some of the Heist Movies, Spiderverse and Beastars where there is something emergency happened then Plan B: experimentation of being Good. I like the character models in this movie, a modernized version of the original and yea when I saw them I just remember from the anime "Beastars" 😅

Looks like the video that actually included deleted scenes was deleted but I remember the alternate beggining with a male around 50 aged chief instead of luggins In the scene where they were caught during guinea pig rescue Snake complained over Wolf’s promise about eating guinea pigs and tried eating marmelade during a dinner with Foxington who saw everything without marmelade noticing, thinking something was wrong with her “vegan” meal

Can we just take a minute... thinking about the feelings of..."2nd hand" voice actors..those voice actors are paid cheap and i bet every single of them wad wishing secretely that he can be in final movie..imagine the dissapointment..first they hire you..you record its good and later they dump you... the 2d hand drawing guy knows he wont be in final version..

thats actually a normal process? designs change overtime, meaning they need a new voice that would fit them. as part of the creative industry, its really not that bad. im pretty sure those voice actors were also paid well even for a test, but if not well thats a problem

Quite often the voice actors for storyboards are just whoever is available in the studio, because it's only a placeholder until they cast an actor. But every once and while they'll be such a good fit they'll get cast in the final version. That's how the director wound up voicing Edna in the Incredibles
