For my opinion, i would like to choose landed properties instead of highrise coz i want let my kids play around the porch not to play at the condo balcony.. yes the point of car is park at porch is easy to me to bring groceries to go inside home... And also I don't like waiting for the late coming lift just for 5 mins.. waste my time la.. ergghhhhh hahahah #downtoearth team

Completely untrue about the water cut, I was living in an apartment during the water outage and we had no water either. You can also hear everything that's going on above you, every single furniture move or jump. Just my two cents, a landed property is better for people who are settling down and starting a family or lives of their own. And congratulations on your marriage 💖

During water shortages... My condo has retains water supplies able to coup over 2 weeks. Yes, the 2014 kelantan flood, we had power and water supplies and we are by the Riverside... First to hit, but last to get recover... Its more towards what prep in place with your community. Landed wise, need to do your own prep with extra tanks and solar for power...

I had an argument about this with my friend many many years ago. It depends on your lifestyle and budget. Esp these days in metropolitan cities, landed houses are so much more expensive than high rise apartments.

For me, its expensive that you can sewa beli not like apartment. Kita takkan nak bayar sewa je sampai mati right? For me if ada landed house kau boleh pilih sama ada sewa or kau beli terus. Bayar ansuran. Habis bayar, rumah tu boleh digunakan ketika tua atau diberikan kepada anak anaklah... I think like that.

Condo cheap meh? financial burden?haha. Monthly Maintenance fees is very high for those with a lot amenities. And yet no privacy. You can hear you neighbor upstairs and around you. So it depends if you like urban areas then high rise is your choice due to the price of landed property in urban areas is quite high. But if you don't mind to stay a bit outskirt then go for landed property.

From a real experience living in a low rise apartment and low density, I have to say it sucks when it comes to the maintenance fees. The sad but true fact is not everyone giving full cooperation to consistently pay the maintenance fees and this problem really gives a headache to the JMB to handle it in order for them to pay certain things to vendors. JMB have to beg to the resident and keep reminding them to pay pay pay. Reality check guys. If I got more money definitely will live in landed property.

Very simple only, it's all about money. If I have money, I will obviously go for landed, but wallet always ask you to go for apartment. All these facilities that you so fancy? 6 months max that you'll use it before you lose interest and end up paying maintenance fee for nothing. And the worse part is that you're literally paying to own a piece of cubic space in mid-air, you don't own any land whatsoever

For my opinion... Depending on personal income/financial....not all person get same luck... For lack of unit... Both sides got lack, it's depending how to you handle the situation. Landed house nearby city +/- 400k to mil /unit. Got the cheap one but it's far away from your works places except you wiling to drive hourly. Same goes to highrise... Nearby city still expensive..the low price still you can get but it's not far2 away from your work. So the option in your hands.... You must choose from through your financial point of view not your desire...

6:02,, landed house is better than condo bcause when you're 50 you must be always tired and not always feeling well...so when you stay at condo, you need a lot of energy to walk from carpark into your home but when you stay at landed house you just need 3 step to walk from your car into your home...you don't need a lot of energy and you can take a healthy and clean breath with trees along of your house😉

If both are in the same location, then the most important thing is to check your pocket. getting a landed is more expensive than condo. your money in your pocket is your deciding factor. not so much of what people tell you. if you can afford a bungalow, then go ahead. buy within your means.

For me, prefer landed. Maybe because im living in landed single story house since birth until now with family and I HATE LIFT hahahaha !!. If you are rushing and your things left behind in the house, like hell you wanna go up to pick up that things. At last, just go without it. But if I'm living alone, maybe im also prefer condo. But have family, better landed. Landed house such a dream for all of people.

#downtoearth Apa yang diketengahkn oleh Farouk dan Raz adalah betul. Tapi tak semestinya apa yang diketengahkan oleh Jeremy dan his partner tu tak betul cuma saya lebih bersetuju dengan landed house. Atas rumah ada rumah.. Once org rumah atas kita bertukang., anak berlari-lari., walaupun cuma tumbuk sambal guna lesung batu., aduhai merasa la kita.. Mmg la condo. Apartm ada security yg menjaga ketenteraman kita tapi., jangan tak tahu , saya dengar dari sahabat baik saya sendiri., orang bedal motor suami dia., ada yang saya dgr cerita tentang motor kena kopak., macam2 lagi.. Security guard takkan cek satu per satu kenderaan kita.. Jadi itu salah satu kekurangan pada condo atau seangkatan dengannya.. Once awak dah ada anak., anak2 mesti nak bermain di luar rumah.. Landed house ada tanah walaupun tak besar mana ruang tanahnya tu., tapi affordable untuk anak2..

Malaysian don't have a lot of old condo. Your condo old that time, who want to pay to replace the 40 yr old lift. Your neighbor above toilet leaking, who pay for it? Landed your roof leak, you ownself settle, got no lift also.

Fully of bullshit about Highrise. If u have any issues inside ur unit. Its up to the maintenance whether to repair it by closing an eye,by right MO will not allow their tech to work in anyones unit. Who is going to pay maintenance fee (can die lo), and it is on the JMC/JMB's decision to increase or reduce. If 1 share unit is RM0.80 and ur unit maybe 450 su, per month is approx RM360 only for maintenance .Water Tank can only last for 2 days 😁 just imagine if u unable to control the residents usage. Do a proper study ahead... 🙅‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ There are even more things to share... but think wisely before purchasing a highrise building...
