It's a complete wonder why they didn't go for mezzo soprano originally, it sounds so much more like Jane Doe is in anguish over not knowing who she is. You did amazing and I can finally sing this as well. Thank you for your rendition and making it a lower octave.
@niyalove50446 ай бұрын
Right that’s what I’d think
@Havoc.Obliteration5 ай бұрын
Personally, I feel like the song was originally written for a higher key is because it sounds less... human? Jane Doe knows nothing her life, only small fragments of a big picture. Hitting those higher notes are considered unnatural and creeping into whistle note territory, which only few can hit. An example of this inhuman idea is The Doll's song.
@kyirsss3 ай бұрын
my theory is that they just needed a soprano for the choir, i mean we have misha’s bass, ocean’s mezzo soprano, constances alto and idk who ricky and noel are but definitely either a tenor or barytone, and here we have jane doe’s soprano
@Ohnoourtableitsbrokennn2 ай бұрын
@@Havoc.Obliteration it definitely does feel unnatural,but it has the side affect of making Jane ridiculously hard to play consistently.

Is actually reminded me of a tabletop character that ive had in my back pocket for years. In fantasy settings they are a changeling, in scifi they are cybernetically augmented to be able to become anyone. But whatever the setting, the story is the same. They have worn so many masks and become so many people, lived so many lives, that they have forgotten who they are originally, even their original name is lost. They are simply Doe, not John or Jane Doe, because even gender is lost to them.
