what i will push back on is that lamar hasn't been playing well. If you watched all four games like I have its clear that he was the sole driving force of the offense in the first three games, in this game henry took over but he still had 3 TDS and 200 yards. This is a top 5 offense in points per game and without him they wouldn't score at all

Lamar is more efficient than ever, averaging 100+ passer rating the first four weeks (with the last two weeks 130+). Thats far better than mahomes, who has already thrown 5 picks.

Lamar has been playing well. Ravens have 1 of the hardest schedules, and Lamar's managed to play well despite 3 of his 5 OL being rookies. Most QBs in that position would do terribly, but Lamar still does well cuz he can do Houdini stuff no one else can. Ravens have 3 rookie OL vs Karlaftis, Chris Jones, Christian Wilkins, Maxx Crosby, Micah Parsons, Greg Rousseau & Von Miller...all back to back. That's the real reason they started slow.

It’s a rite of passage for all Bills defenders to get their shit rocked by big RB’s like Henry, run defense has always been their crutch in the McDermott era
@LV-1969Ай бұрын
I like Jackson a lot. I hope they use Henry a lot to reduce the risk of injury to Lamar. What I am afraid of with quarterbacks that run/scramble a lot is getting injured. RGIII's first season for example. Dante Culpepper was a force until his knee injury and the his career tanked. Tony Romo got injured getting tackled running the ball and that was the end of his career.
@kevingoins1591Ай бұрын
Your comment expired about six seasons ago. Have you watched Lamar play? If so, you will see his vision is freakish, last game he hurtled over a defender trying to take his legs out, then followed that with a stiff armed TOUCHDOWN! Try to find where Lamar takes direct hits he don’t see or initiate first. You will find more video of Lamar on the ground while two defenders hit/hurt each other. RGIII was no LJ and Culpepper, Romo, not even close to the type of athlete or player Lamar is. Knock on wood my analysis do not Jinx LJ8 Go Ravens!
@LV-1969Ай бұрын
@@kevingoins1591 wrong... 6 seasons is a long time. He is getting older and the body tends to break down over time. All it takes is one hit to the knee like Dante C. So Lamar has had a run of good luck. So have a lot of other quarterbacks. Still no superbowl rings.
@kevingoins1591Ай бұрын
@@LV-1969 what was wrong about what I said? I am from Louisville so I have watched every game since his freshman year. It’s all online. No Super Bowl? I did not say anything about a SB, but in that time he holds the record for a QB rushing beating Mike Vick in year 4? So he ran more in that short period of time than all the QBs you used as an example for injuries. No SB yet but 2 league MVPs so a lot of other people see what I see when it come to LJ. More than good luck!
@LV-1969Ай бұрын
@@kevingoins1591 why did you say I am 6 years too late? I'm not. I like Jackson but every QB that runs will run the risk of serious injury and will get hurt at some point in time.
@kevingoins1591Ай бұрын
@@LV-1969 my comment was because that is what everyone said in 2019 (5yr) when LJ had his first full year and won his first MVP. The naysayers said, he will get hurt, he can’t throw, he should move to receiver, Joe B, and Josh A are better QBs, even when Josh runs as an RB because he is bigger. These things they said when he was in college also! Listen to all commentators now, they stopped saying he will get hurt and now say he is the BEST player/rusher out there because he use it when needed. I agree with you we want the mileage on King Henry, and that is what this year’s version is doing very well now. For the record, Lamar’s two injuries happened when he stayed in the pocket vs on scrambles.

Credit to the Bills where it's due, cause despite the score, it was a competitive game from start to finish, and the Bills were able to capitalize on some of the Ravens' mistakes (even if some efforts fell short). It's one loss, but I know this Bills team can bounce back. As for the Ravens, I'm still keeping that panic button ready, cause for once, the Ravens actually did what they should have done against the Raiders and Cowboys: speed the proverbial leg and finish the job. There is a sense of complacency which ironically is often attributed to our rivals the Steelers, but this Ravens team needs to stop playing down to the competition. We can take leads, but getting too complacent with it is the reason why the Ravens lost, or came very close to choking it away. Until the Ravens can definitively prove they can consistently hold leads to the end, forget Super Bowl aspirations; we'll be lucky to just get one Wild Card ticket at this point.
