Wow! Even I have never seen a fabulous airport like that. Greetings my friend. That had to be one of your best laid back and relaxing airport trips ever! I love it. And I am so amazed that on a one hour flight they had REAL food served with REAL cutlery 😊. You will never see that in America. Once when I flew the then , Virgin America, they were unfortunately very short lived over here , I flew them from San Francisco to Oregon, which is a very short flight and I had a very nice meal service in first class but that was rare. Just goes to show you that airlines can afford to do that because if a tiny commuter airline can do it, certainly a large airline in United States could but because of greed they don’t. Great review! What I didn’t mention in the video is that Ko Samui airport is owned and operated by Bangkok Airways, as far as I know, so not only the airline is „boutique“, but also the airport. Btw, I have heard of Virgin America, but never tried them unfortunately. Now they have been swallowed by Alaska Airlines, if i‘m not mistaken. Greetings, Chris

@@forgotmypassportHi Chris, yes you are correct about Virgin America. The real reason was politics, which is why his airline would not survive here in the United States, while many of us wish it would have. They don’t like outsiders showing them up as Virgin did but still clean capitalism, they are hypocrites It’s just the way it works here in our country unfortunately, that’s why our airlines are so bad.. it’s all Greed😮!

Enjoyed this video immensely. I watched it three times so far. Never heard of Ko Samui. It's now on my mental list of places to visit. Perfect choice of music. You mentioned doing a video of the island. Looking forward to seeing that.
