One of a series of depictions of the baptism of Christ by John the Baptist - this one from the 1973 film "Godspell" starring Victor Garber as Jesus and David Haskell as John the Baptist.

A classic from a time when we were innocent and hopeful. The world has changed so much since then. May we redisover that innocent joyfulness again.

There is an innocence and joy to this film, that you don't see today.

I first heard this music back in 1971 in Fargo ND. I liked it then. I like the actor that plays the Christ. Other than that, it's a movie played by hippies with their interpretation of the life of Jesus...and they are all dead wrong. Even so, I still listed to the music, today.

He’s the best and wrong or right, not the point and not important, and no one is wrong or right anyway, otherwise it would suck. It’s different for everyone unless they want it to be the same.

Those that made this movie were trying to make it relatable to the youth of the day.

Jesus said not a single word against homosexuality. Preached against hoarding wealth, though. And judging others.
