As believers we should be very careful not to confuse Jesus and his ways with the ways of the evil occult such as the New World Order. Really appreciate the work the team is doing. For me this is a time to reflect afresh on the sacrifice and victory of my Lord Jesus Christ. For the undeniable fact is that Jesus came in the flesh, and suffered and died to take away the sins of the world and He arose on the 3rd day - and I will continue to celebrate His victory over sin, death and the devil thru His death and triumphant resurrection for all Eternity. The part "whom I love" is also an echo of Genesis 22. "Take Isaac, your only son, whom you love ..." God's first recorded sentence in the New Testament is a quotation of at least three different books of the Hebrew Bible. So cool.

@@epicalbrometters if you really do want to experience this, I suggest you go to your room, close the door, and have some minutes of honest prayer, like really tell Him what is in your heart and ask Him to talk to you.. after this, read the bible again, I think you may experince feeling His presence in the first time you do it but in case you don't, keep this practice for a while, if your heart is honest and open, you will SURELY meet and listen to Him. You know, once we start getting to know Him, searching for Him is a matter of surviving, we never stop this practice haha Well, I will be praying for you as well, I hope you have an amazing encounter with Him soon (: Best Regards! Both Simon the Zealot and Matthew the tax collector were Jesus' disciples. That must have been... interesting...

The thing I remember hearing this reminds me of a saying: "If you what you always did, you'll get what you always go." Another is "insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results." I wonder if Jesus understood this aspect and thus taught his disciples to do the opposite. In his time there were many insurrectionists trying to overthrow the Romans, but this was not what Jesus wanted to do, by teaching them to love their enemies he was giving them a new direction.

Dunking folk backwards as into a casket was an American invention, adopted by platform evangelists to teach Romans 6.
