I love this story. Reminds me so much of myself. Problem is that a lot of homeless “beggar” type people now a days in America are drugged up violent people and people are afraid to approach them. Or liars who pretend because they are too lazy to work, and they find it hard to know who is genuine or who is a fake. Or at least it is in most major cities.

I understand about going up to people to, but I will give a little bit of money from my car window sometimes along with a track (if they get money from me, they're also getting some Jesus). I tell them I will pray for them. What they do from there is on them. God knows your heart and your intention. I never give more than $2 or $3. My mom has started buying $5 gift cards from McDonald's. She says at least she knows they'll be getting food.

This story is so wise, mainly speaking of God's forgiveness. But if you look closer, the younger son never got his inheritance back. A life of sin does have consequences, we can be forgiven if we repent, but we need to make wise choices by reading the Word of God and praying for God to give us His wisdom.

I never betrayed my father or uncles. They rejected me from birth even though they had DNA proof I am my father's daughter. I want so badly to be welcomed by them like the prodigal son. If it is God's will it will happen. I praise the Lord God for being the Father I always wanted and needed and for sending me the Savior I didn't deserve. Thank you Jesus.

i am a Jew and and in our homes in Israel we have the old testament only, without the new one, so one day i met the "one for Israel" ministry, and than i opened the second half, the new testament, and looked at the prophecies of the old, from that point and after he showed me his power and glory and gave me the holy spirit, i could not deny this, today almost 2 years later, i can say: i love Jesus more than anything. this is how the bible changed my life, or more specifically: how god changed my life and opened my eyes through the bible.

The parable of the prodigal son or lost son tells us all that we’re all God’s children and yes there’s going to be times that we’re do things that are morally wrong. But there’s one thing that we shouldn’t forget and that is no matter what bad things we do, God’s mercy and love is unconditional.

I was a prodigal for many years ( grew up in christian home walked away from Him in my teens) and our Father brought me back last year on July 31, 2021. He encountered me in my bedroom one night when I was in a desperate hopeless situation. I had just left my very abusive husband of 23yrs (17y-40y) and he showed up to my house and caused a scene. I called the police and they couldnt do nothing, they said ..."he didnt touch you" although there was records of police reports & previous TPO's. That night in bed I was so terrified he would show up and hurt me. I was crying & experiencing intense anxiety. THEN I heard clear audible voice say "Do you not believe God creator of heaven & earth is more powerful than your husband?" And I replied " Yes you're right, He is!" In that moment it never had occured to me to ask God nor did I know it was Him. I was sobbing so honestly I dont know if I heard Him in my mind or outside of my mind. I remember I was faced up laying in bed crying and heard it coming from above to my right. When I replied back I then cried out to God to keep it short I said "ok ok ok I will live for You now!! I will do whatever You want. My way isnt working and Im tired of trying to figure things out!!!"😫😫😫😫😮‍💨😮‍💨 In that moment as I was saying that I felt an incredible peace come over me that cant be described....absolute bliss & peace😭 and I fell asleep as I was stil praying and slept the whole night. The next morning I was left baffled what happened. I woke up feeling such peace & hope and knew everything would be ok. I know Holy Spirit filled me bc I had such & still do a hunger for God after that night. My relationship has been just growing & growings. And my husband has never layed hands on me since then. We are still separated but I have forgiven him. The first year was tough but we can now interact peacefully. I leave it all in my Fathers hands. I dont live for myself anymore. Its whatever God says is how I live now. I dont make decisions without seeking Him first. I have a relationship with God I never knew was available. Lastly one thing I realized was that in all those 23yrs when I would try to leave my husband Id return to him even if I didnt want too. My husband had such a powerful grip on me bc of his manipulation, intimidation & gaslighting me BUT it took just ONE moment with Jesus to break that gripe...hallelujah🔥🔥🔥 My only desire now and focus is to be one with my Lord & Savior. I just love love love Him so much💞💞❤❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤❤💞💞 All glory to God🙌🙌
