I saw the Jungle Book when it came out in 1967 as a kid. We kids went around singing "Bear Necessities" for weeks. What a great rendition of the song. Really loved Josh's solo and Carson's killer lyrics. Thanks guys!

@alcogm - I'm not sure whether songs are like published fiction, but if so, there'd be no royalties if we're talking about tunes written long ago. With fiction, a book or story goes to Public Domain 75 years after the author's death. Maybe all intellectual property is this way?

This brings back fond memories. I had never seen this movie as a kid, but in the 1980s I was a chauffeur, and I got to spend three days driving Phil Harris around Austin. I think this is the only Cover of this song I have ever seen done. And It was AMAZING. Their personality flowed through the Vocals and the guitar playing was difficult but oh so precise.
