Great content . I do have a question though . Further up on tank row there are some concrete blocks that lead to a railway line that appears to run behind oaks colliery . Is this part of the barnsley coal railway ?

Hi thanks for that I’m not 100 % I would have to check maps 😃 but the two lines around tank row were the Barnsley coal I can’t remember seeing the blocks

@exploringthepastandthepres9793 I managed to find out about the bit of rail line I mentioned . Its part of the midland line that went over oaks viaduct . Was down the other day and bumped into the park ranger for oaks colliery who told me . He also said the dearne and dove aqueduct had to be demolished using dynamite it was that well built . Willful destruction me thinks . Again great content and many thanks for your efforts .
