Fun Fact: at the Reno MagicFest, my Trench Gorger was a 36/36. But what's more interesting is that it was in a game with WOTC rep Scott Larabee, who was the actual designer of the card! He was thrilled to see his design seeing play. Also, nice suggestion with the Sphinx Ambassador, I'll pick one up. Cheers!

Hey, I know that guy. He did some neat mtg top 10 list videos and decks as well. About this deck: 3:30 - 10:10 What about Artisan of Kozilek and Pathrazer of Ulamog? They're both bulk rares and still stronger than most other threats on this list. (edit: Pathrazer is even an uncommon) Regarding the removal-issue: you need the removal to survive long enough to cheat in your big spells. Those spells then need to win the game on their own.

I gotta say I absolutely adore how both my jhoira's are super powerful and interesting, I've always been a fan of artifact synergies hailing back to my first competitive 60 card deck which i used in multiple formats by switching out key cards that had similar effects but the most authentic to original that the deck was based off of was either a vintage or modern deck based around metalworker called mud anywho I'm getting off track my point was that her artifact commander form I've built a super strong deck around and want to see what all I can do with this commander because the ability also seems to be pretty solid value
@DavyMcWavy4 жыл бұрын
This jhoira is my favorite commander to cheat stuff into play. Mainly because you get the cast trigger which is taken away in most instances of cheating things into play

Watching Baron's top 10 mana rock video from 2018, he called Worn Powerstone bad and Mana Vault bad without help. What changed?
@NitpickingNerds4 жыл бұрын
I think this deck wants to prioritize mana rocks that can tap for two mana by themselves, according to his deck tech from about a year ago. Mana Vault is niche but gets good when it can accelerate you three turns ahead, for example play it on turn 3 and then turn 4 play an eight drop, and this deck has lots of that!

ahh ok, thank you. I really enjoy your content.

I can't think of a different deck that could use Jhoira's Timebug, yet somehow it just doesn't fit in the deck! Also since the next set is supposed to have a ton of counters in it. I wonder if this deck will get a few new pieces for it
