FIRST ☝️😊 dear Jamie there are no words to describe how thankful I am to you for your profession and also the knowledge you transfer to us, your followers! You are my motivation and you create that illusion, color grade and mood of pictures which I am adoring to. I am following and using your technique and will citate your name and give credits whenever I do edit any of my pictures/drone photos. Keep going on, you are a master of controlling and adjusting lights and colors. Nevertheless greetings from Budapest, Hungary where you are always welcome :) We have many beautiful spots here to capture 🤗 Many thanks for all your knowledge that you share with us! Kind regards, Edward

Thank you for your kind words and for taking the time to leave me such a nice comment. I would love to come to Budapest, I have heard it is a beautiful city but I have not yet had the opportunity to visit. Perhaps you would be happy to show me around for a few days, so that I could see if it could be a great place to hold a workshop. If you think this could be possible contact me through my website contact page, where we can exchange emails, best regards Jamie

You have quite an eye for detail and realism, with artistic touches to add that something extra to your photographs. Sometimes my head spins a bit when I see you demonstrate what each slider is capable of. So many possibilities, it's hard for me to compute. A beautiful piece of photographic art!!

Hey Jamie - I'm wondering if you have made any videos regarding tips, tricks, do's & don'ts for shooting images that you are planning to perform your conversion on. I'd be particularly interested on daytime images that are converted to dusk.

Hi Michael, as you are most likely aware I have many day-to-night style videos in my collection, it is one of my favourite styles for processing. I do explain the reasoning behind the shots in a number of the videos, however, in my next video (which will be a day-to-night) I will go into more detail about the exposure, composition and settings required to achieve a good starting point for a day-to-night 😀

Hi Jamie, Thanks for another great video and for sharing your techniques. Love your work. I have just stopped my Luminar Neo subscription. It does have some great tools but I was paying too much for photography software across the board and had to rationalise. I decided to stick with Adobe as my primary photo editing software supplemented by some other specialist tools. Thanks again. Cheers Scotty

Now everything is going subscription, I think that it makes software very expensive, as the costs never go away !! I don’t understand your reasons 👍

Do you state that your images are processed and are really "Photo Art" ?. I have absoultly no issues with what you do ( and do it quite well) , however truth in imagery is something that concerns me, after over 30 years as a professional photographer. Your technique and teaching ability!--JG

The starting image I always call a photograph because it has come directly from the camera in RAW format, thereafter I always refer to it as an Image, as it is no longer direct from Camera, I think the truth in imagery is an important point, as with the advent of AI it is going to get more difficult to know what is and is not real. Even photography competitions are starting to allow some degree of processing, but then a JPG is just data processed by the camera, based on the manufacturer's algorithm, however, since the beginning of photography back in the 1800s, there has always been a degree of manipulation, either when taking the photograph or during processing in the dark room, the greatest photographers have always post-processed to get the best result. It is a complex subject, for me I see it as art, I am given an easel and I paint 😀
