I followed this to the letter. I read the documentation. I followed the instructions. I did everything right. ...but still I get stupid building errors that no amount of googling will fix. I really want to see this tech stack be successful.

please make one for windows that are detailed. I checked the documentation and after 10 hours I can't run the examples. How is it possible for the example scripts to have mistakes... missing dependencies etc.

How many "getting started" tutorials have you made in the past 12 months? Presentation and clarity is getting better tho.

@@siraaron4462 For instance :) could also inagine that they drop a bunch of tutorials at once, giving us a better grasp on how to utilize ARDK fully. After all they need a whole lot more developers soon, if they are serious about their version of the metaverse.

at 4:46 you mention installing "ArdkAuthConfig" however I don't see an ARK option or "ArdkAuthConfig" I am on UNity 2022.3.18f and Lightships Ardk v3.0 (ARDK UPM v3.3.0) Have things changed since then?

yes, they basically created a whole bunch of tutorials, documentation and videos, just to change the entire ardk code base 2 months later. Now most of the tutorials and docs on their site is completely useless, as Ardk 3.0 has different libraries, namespaces and components. And of course, some updated guidance materials are still impossible to find

Does Lightship support WebAR applications? Or is 8th wall the better desicicion for WebAR when it comes to niantic products?

for android you may need to add a camera permission request to the start script-> docs.unity3d.com/2021.2/Documentation/Manual/android-RequestingPermissions.html

The lightship documentation lacks real context. You guys might wanna work on that first to onboard real developers

the code does not work. I have this argument "Assets\Resources\Scripts\SceaneManager.cs(62,36): error CS0411: The type arguments for method 'GameObject.GetComponent()' cannot be inferred from the usage. Try specifying the type arguments explicitly."

I was able to get it to work by changing Line 62 to be as follows: Rigidbody rigbod = newBall.GetComponent(); (you just have to explicitly specify the type of the component you're getting)
