Absolutely right about comfrey. I got a local source from market place for a few small plants. They divide for sharing easily. And wow! Do they ever grow quickly! I would recommend a large container for them to keep them from spreading too much. It is controversial to ise internally, but I have used it externally for inflammation issues as compresses and an oil/salve. It works wonders for arthritis issues for me!

I enjoy watching you live streams after the fact GS. You were talking about scareafation & stratification. I learned that one of Minnesota's native pine trees, the Jack Pine, those pinecones are "glued" shut with resin/sap & will only open after 120 deg F. So, after a wildfire. I believe they are both a pioneer forest species like Aspen and are a full sun tree.
