Makes it even sadder for sure. Can feel how lonely Bruce is but he probably doesn’t even know he is cuz of his mission. Then he latches on to someone like Selena who he shouldn’t like. Someone who’s in the opposite spectrum of social status. Someone who he can relate to despite having totally different lives. Two traumatized, kindred spirits who have to take separate paths to their true potential.
