Holy crap I have seen the trailer now at least 15 times now and it is a spectacle from start to finish. It's dark, gritty, visceral, and the world building is incredible. Also you have a Titans' easter egg with Jay Lycurgo who is a thug plays Tim Drake in the current season of Titans.

This is the most PISSED OFF Batman I think I’ve ever seen!!! You can feel how his overwhelming rage is. The look Selina gave to Batman when he is pummeling that guy, he looks like he will ground and pound you until there is literally nothing left but a red smear. I feel like this Batman is a combo of Christopher Nolan’s Batman and Batman the Animated Series. There is this tonal, dare I say period piece atmosphere, but weighted in realism. I love that this feels like a 90s movie. This is how you do moody, near gray scale without being a Snyder film. Batman has always been this moody and grunge aspect to DC and the Justice League in general, I’m glad their leaning in. Superman is candy floss, confetti. Not that he hasn’t had his darker moments but Superman is apple pie to Batman’s death by chocolate. Nolan had Bruce get all of his gear through the R&D department at Wayne Industries. This batman seemed to have upgraded everyday items or Wayne industries tech, I love it! I love that they are leaning more into the detective background rather than what has been done in the past. This iteration of Gotham feels like a cross between Chicago and Detroit which is great to see. I would want this Batman/Bruce Wayne to meet Clark Kent/Superman. I want to see this batman in a justice league with Wonder Woman and aquaman and all the rest. I hope that this movie explores the blurred lines between Bruce Wayne and Batman’s personalities. With Batman, the actor chosen is usually a good Bruce Wayne or a good Batman never really a combo of both. I think Robert Pattinson may make this his stand out role!

The trailer was visually dynamic, gritty and visceral, and it looks like they have meticulously brought the noir, art-deco aspect of Gotham City to life!
