I keep noticing this the more I listen to the song, but the vocals at the beginning are so clear and sit so well on the instrumental it’s almost unsettling.

warning for spoilers: I mean, personally, I disagree with your take at the beginning. I personally think Robert did a phenomenal job at both Batman and Bruce. Especially when you watch it as its own standalone movie, not being all "It's not as good as other movies and cartoons". Personally, the most unsatisfying way to watch movies is to judge it in comparison to other things like it. This is Bruce 2 years after becoming batman. He's rage filled, spiteful...and this Bruce doesn't know what to do with the man half of himself. It's very telling that he only realizes he needs to be hope, not vengeance at the very end. And the man aspect is quite tragic when you notice and time spent in the real world as Bruce, he's so afraid of letting others in he refuses to make proper eye contact. Or even, being so angry with what Alfred tells him yet he changes tone and becomes genuinely afraid when he realizes Alfred could have been killed by the bomb. It truly is up to your own "lens" to tell you what you think of it. I personally watch movies with a more emotional lens that points more toward what is being conveyed rather than just told. But you do you. Good song though, reaction always entertaining. I just personally think the movie was damn beautiful...

We actually talked about this more when we got out of the theater - I think OtakuDon was also feeling similarly, we did thoroughly enjoy him as both Bruce and Batman, especially a younger or a young adult version of him. We didn't like the hair style choice (very Justin Bieber) so it was more of an aesthetic/visual issue. We also enjoyed where the story was going on where it leaves off for the next one and we both feel that this is by far one of the best Batman movies we've seen since Dark Knight. Almost wish we could have seen Rob with Heath, and we definitely want to see Rob with Joaquin, and hope that is an avenue they will consider taking when introducing Joker. What you said was beautifully put and we 100% agree with that. There would be no way to enjoy any movie if you're already going in with scrutiny or just following along with whatever is put on front of you. We just didn't go into detail of what ee enjoyed about the movie or the breakdown for this reaction because lord would it be LONG. We're excited to see where the next movie will take us! -OtakuRen

@@OtakuCouple yeah dude and dudette think about the club scene! First hey. Just tries to punch through, the second time I think he LEARNED to sneak in. We are literally watching Batman learn how to be Batman. The other Batman movies thinks about it Heath ledger (joker in the dark night normally I don’t remember the names of people so you know he made an impact) is in a different point of Batman’s life.
