Fighting has intensified between Congolese forces and the M23 rebels in Lubero, in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The army, backed by pro-government militia, is fighting to recapture territory that the rebels claimed on Friday.

Y'all should stop calling them rebels, this is a coalition of Rwandan and Ugandan forces...if it was just a rebel group, DRC wouldn't need SADC intervention to defeat the rebels, but we can see that even with SADC reinforcements, the so called "rebels" are still putting up a strong fight, and SADC has suffered a lot of casualties as well

SADC is there for a paycheque nothing more just like Burundi if you talking bout casualties Burundi has suffered more than any of SADC nation they are gettin butchered things are changing on the ground rapidly and this AFC/M23 rebels will run over the whole country soon Congo has no army well most them are pro- Kabila anyway the really war hasn’t even started once Rwanda and Uganda gets in fully then it will be unstoppable

There are 120+ rebel groups in DRC. Your government is doing nothing to stop them and to control their territory but it wants to blame others for securing their borders.

Firstly it's not free the Congolese government is paying for it , secondly , south Africa is fighting under the banner of the SADC, which means should any conflict come about in South Africa, the DRC 🇨🇩, Tanzania, Namibia , and other members of the community will send troops to help it's a regional thing
