Wrong, I am from the east and I can vouch that Laurent Nkunda and his successors of the CNDP and the m23 were the ones saving us while people were being attacked by the Mai Mai, FDLR, and the government army itself. I deeply dislike the media that puts them into the evil category, because in all realness, if you take your time to research, you’ll see the m23/afc celebrating and conversing with the community that they protect.
@SwiftzGaming5 ай бұрын
@@thedailycheckpointI was thinking similar thing, when you see m23 go through a village compared to the army you see the civilians more scared and almost stare at the soldiers as they march through compared to m23 as if they have something to fear, idk but you can get a lot from looking at a video.

I'm an American and I visited Kenya in the 70s for about 6 months. I know it's not the Congo, but the people are similar. It was one of the best chapters of my whole life, everybody spoke English as a second language to me. I didn't need to learn any Swahili. They were all very nice to me and some of the women there were the most beautiful I've ever seen. I also smoked a LOT of very powerful weed (I don't do that anymore). I also chewed a lot of khat, but they called it marungi then. I loved my time there and didn't want to leave. I finally left because I had some business to take care of up in Denmark. I had hoped to go back to Kenya, but I never did. (Seeing this video obviously reminded me of Kenya because it looks almost the same). Mombasa was my favorite place in Kenya, but Nairobi was very nice. So was Kisumu. 😂

I moved to Dayton Ohio 10 years ago for my retirement career, I am now a landlord. All of my houses are occupied by Congolese refugees.via the UN when I first came to dayton I began to see how many refugees are here. I had no idea, but after I met some, and word got around they became my best tenants, They come with nothing after many years in camps.,,so lucky me I have a black belt in shopping and find furniture and other thing which are needed. I even work to get the kids into better schools..Please dont let word get out I like being a secret. Currently I house 44 people. I have a sustainable business and my houses are nice. Recently I got a family from this area to rent to, I walked in and it looked as if I walked into a tent in a camp nothing and 7 people. I never knew that my life

Yes!! I do similar with working with Refugees and see how they have nothing 😭 Look at Mugunga Refugee Camp and La Vert Refugee Camp that are both next to Goma. They have horrific living situations where no human beings should be tortured like that 😭 They were bombed by M23 rebels last Friday and women and children were killed. Paul Kagame, the president of Rwanda, is an M23 supporter and they are killing thousands of people from the DRC 😭 It is genocide. Thank you so much for helping and renting to DRC Refugees ❤ God bless you.

As a Pastor in Africa I have to ask the Church, - globally, in Africa and in the region of eastern DR Congo, Uganda, Rwanda and Burundi: "where is the fruit of the Gospel of Peace"? Is the perpetuated war about ethnic conflict or disguised profit from conflict minerals? While the trauma continues, - and the global church remains blind, - the DRC is unstable, poor, exploited and an embarrasment for Africa!

@justafriend3408 you are not Rwandese but rather call yourself one to spew your propaganda. The're literally Ugandan parts that neighbors Rwanda who speak Kinyarwanda and it's the same case with congo. The're native congolese Tutsi's. This sickens me. All this unnecessary death and suffering laid upon people who never had a moment of peace and prosperity in their life. All they know is hardship and they undergo it in a both stoic and dignified fashion that demands tremendous respect. They live in what should be one of the richest countries in the world but are some of the poorest people in the world. It’s such a damn shame and it makes me incurably sad. I hope Africa finds a way out of the circle of war and conflict and begins to make sure that everyone can enjoy the riches of their magnificent continent.
