I think some people think that the game is too easy (true) unless you challenge yourself (also true), but they forget that games are meant to be fun, and no one else cares about your achievement unless you share it. It becomes very easy to forget that other people have other playstyles and get mad at them for "unfairly" progressing through the game (that's very cringe though)
