The second game was so close at the end. One of the worst UI problems (still) with the terrible notifications system and the tiny magnification glass over the village to show where there might be a cell makes it really unintuitive to stop the assassinations. Turned out to be super exciting though, with that assassination attempt at 99% when you took out his base haha.

game does look great but it does fall into the classic 4x FFA curse where the less you do the more likely you are to win. but in the topic of 4x games have you ever considered playing gladius if you like 40k tabletop? rule wise it shares a lot of similarities

Mid to late game as freeman you need to park your army in the middle, that way you can worm on the side you are being attacked ;) And basically just troll the middle, by pillaging and free the pit non stop to make sure no one get that sweet water extractor

Your economy was suffering because you missed a spice payment. Each successful payment increases the exchange rate an additional + 0.1, once you fail a payment you lose all stacks of that buff. So in this case you lost the + 0.5 spice exchange rate you had. It's what makes the fremen uprising intel really good as people usually set their spice stockpile just enough to pay and forget to readjust for the lost production you caused.

With Stormgate and Zero space being developed I don't think we will ever see an other Warcraft or Starcraft. For a new warcraft it's 100% sure since Wow exist and as long as it exist they will never risk killing it. And for a new starcraft as I said earlier it would be a complete suicide trying to developped it. With the time it takes to release a video game Stormgate and Zero Space would be very entrenched by then. And if Microsoft really wanted that kind of rts they would not have killed Hallo Wars 2.

My first assassination was a attempt to kill him early on but the whole time I had infiltration on Hadres so I wasn't worried about him taking the lead. Then after he stopped said attempt I began building up more cells while I began my assassination on the emperor knowing I would have to immediately start infiltrating Turin when I succeed

Sometimes it is a choice in games like this to make visuals very simplistic to make it easier to see significant information.

@@UlricStormborn Or maybe to help it run on potato computers at reasonable settings. IIRC it was one of the reasons Starcraft exploded- while everyone in the 90s was hopping onboard the 3D train, which a significant fraction of computers could not handle, Blizzard ensured their games could run on toasters.

@@oldmanramblingatclouds an excellent point. Many of the most popular games globally are not triple a titles. And aren't people constantly complaining that new games focus too much on graphics and not gameplay? If it's fun, why criticize it for amount of content or graphics?

I wish they made this game more like old style RST like Dune 2000, don’t really like this micro managing and politics control games never understood them and it’s very boring too. Sad love Dune universe but this game not for me I want enjoy pure entertainment not solving puzzles or micromanaging.
