After Curly fled from Weatherfield following accusations of consumer terrorism fueled by the evil Anne Malone, Jackie Dobbs and her son, Tyrone, took up residence in Number 7, first squatting and then officially renting from Alma. When Curly returned in March 1999, he found his house occupied and the new tenants in no hurry to leave. Curly responded by spending an enormous amount of time in the pub, showing off slides of his trip overseas, and plotting his revenge with Spider.

So stupid that they retconned Jackie being Tyrone's mother. She was a dreadful person anyway, so it's difficult to believe she would take on an abandoned baby. If they wanted a grandmother for Tyrone they could've just written Evelyn in as Jackie's mother or Tyrone's dad's mum. Cassie would've been more believable as Tyrone's long-lost sister (Jackie's daughter).

Just finished watching this on ITV3, what a fun storyline with an unexpected ending. Young Ty was a very good actor, as was young Toyah for that matter. 👏👏👍
