deino should have so much more of an advantage when stegos just stick their head in the water. I feel their lunged could do extremely high bleed to them but not much damage, like ripping a chunk out of their body

if were being realistic anything that's big bites on a stegos head should almost instantly kill it. Like think about it, the neck is super thin and the head is tiny, take that single body part off and its completely dead. There's lots of footage of irl alligators tearing legs off so why can't they tear the head off a stego?

@@skull1161 while true, im sure people wouldn't like to have 1 bite whipe out there stego especially with so much time gone into it, as the same argument could be used for stego, one good swing from the stego could very likely pierce the brain of the deino. Truth is its very hard to properly balance these creatures when they didn't evolve to live with eachother. Some realism should be sacrificed in order to get the closest thing to balance. As I say this, the game is far from balanced right now, stego is still a lot more powerful than deino, and that should change.

Recently found your Isle videos since I got sucked back into the rabbit hole that is The Isle (played it way back in 2016 but only been keeping up with it until recently when I started Evrima). Deino seems fun, but I wonder how much the dynamic may shift with the inclusion of things like Baryonx and Spinosaurus. Anywho, it is fun just watching gameplay, I tried Deino and got cannibalized instantly since Im relatively friendly but others may not be.

Guys. You all think about dinos in this game as if they were irl. In irl stegos wouldnt fight with deinonychus on purpose. They would just run away as all herbivores do nowadays. You say that Deinos are not supposed to bite kill on land, and its true, but if we think that way, stegos also shouldn’t kill deinos cause of fear. And also if we mention irl, deinos bite is 10X stronger than the T-Rexes. And his jaw, teeth etc are all bigger. I think the devs just need to make deinos bite - 1. Leg breaking. 2. Add more damage (1000). 3. And the last - make possible for deinos to drown stegos if they get a head-right click attack.

Everma #1 US server the other day it was me and like 7 other deinos and for 3 hours it was a war between us and a mega group of raptors and other Dino’s that where interested in the commotion atleast 13 raptors where killed by me alone mostly baby’s but as soon as I was full grown our deino group just slaughtered every raptor left and then most of us starved except thoes who ate our body forgot to mention it was in the exact same spot :D
