A fun game might have been to eat the first baby jsut before it reaches the other side, forcing the second baby to turn around mid-river, but then swim to the other side of it, forcing it to turn back, etc, until it runs out of stamina.

No joke, that last part with the baby raptors looks very familiar. My friend and I always play as raptors and get stuck as babies together and I swear I've had a moment like that. The pounce was probably also a misclick too since I'm very well known for those 😅

So the alt-bite does more damage? Or did you just do it from his side so you can bite his head while he bites you in the body? Just bought the game 3 days ago, first played Ptera and flew around getting to know the island and it's habitants, now had hours of fun with Deino and got to about 50%... I managed to scare a few dino's (raptors I think) so bad while waiting in some bushes and managing to lunge at them from the leaves.. I bet that scared the crap out of em. The camoflage I got mixes so well to the jungle type leaves when parking next to a log... also managed to bite a medium sized long necked one, but it didn't die, then I chased it to the land while following it's bleed tracks, but a few raptors defended it. Damn mixpacks! They didn't get me though, kept biting em when they kept close and then just walked away. I hope I can manage to get to 100% - that thing looks like an absolute beast! I'm so hooked! Also found myself waiting for ages just for those ambush moments.

Everytime I see this, I'm tempted to play a deino. But I love my carno too much. I wish I could make friends with a deino and we can just travel the rivers while I bring them food or other, unsuspecting prey to the edge of the water. XD It's like a symbiotic relationship. Rtx 4090, amd 7950x and 32 gigs of ram, so its solid fps in 4k. Its a bit overkill though. I could recommend a 3080 ti which I had previously. It ran the game at about 60-90fps in 2560x1440. Ultimately you gotta check what you have budget for and start from there! :)

Sounds like you are on the Legacy branch of the game? If you want to play what you see in this, you would need to go into the games properties in Steam, click Betas and choose "Evrima" in the drop down menu. This will download the latest version of the game where you will find stable official servers etc :)
