I had to take a college course on U.S. history to even learn about this pivotal moment in time as the schools don't teach us about this. Nice short documentary.

Thank you for this video. My grandfather and his father where involved with coal towns. It was slavery just not on paper. My grandfathers brother was shot by a coal company mercenary.

@@DM-mi4je Well, Companies like to get on the bandwagon for every single thing that people seem to like. Just because companies make shirts and socks with the LGBTQ+ flag on it doesn't mean that they support it. Companies are literally two faced bastards who'll follow the money where it goes, they make things that'll trick people into thinking that they're "woke" and "hip with the masses"

May the spirit of Blair mountain inspire us going forward. With shit like company towns coming back, and unions being even more explicitly suppressed than they had been for some time, the workers of America need to be ready to stand up for ourselves by whatever means is necessary. If anyone wonders why we backed the Soviet pillaging of Eastern Europe prior to and during WWII, it was because of them. Same Cosmopolitans that controlled Churchill, the one responsible for getting scores of Brittons killed.
