The Montenegro treaty port was actually genius. With the way treaty ports work, it is actually a treaty port with Montenegro, Austria, and the Ottomans. Since I saw this game live and learned that treaty ports worked that way, I have been looking for opportunities to get treaty ports that border two major countries. There aren't many that you can get as much as the Montenegro one with so little effort though. The best I can find is, Kars(Ottomans, Russia), Lithuania(Russia, Prussia), and Flanders(France, Netherlands, Belgium). There is some others with potentials as well, Nice(italy, France) it needs to be incorporated by Italy first, Dobruja(Ottomans, Wallachia, potentially Russia) gives access to the Wallachian oil which can be sniped or traded. There are some others that are gambles whether they will border multiple countries or not but most of them are not worth the risk compared to the ones I listed.

@@TempestLM doesn't really make sense though considering that treaty ports in real life came attached to agreements with the country that lost the port that they will allow trade into and out of the port and their country. No sort of agreement was made with Austria and the Ottomans for that Montenegro treaty port so Austria and the Ottomans could have just closed the border there in real life if it were to have happened. Treaty ports in the game should really be backed up with an agreement shown in the diplo screen so they are only between the two countries it involves.

Oh, he was 100% correct. At least in these videos, Swimmy is always out for himself alone. The only time he works with a group is when they’re giving him what he wants, and if anyone in that group has something he wants and won’t let him have it, it is inevitable that he will backstab them for it at some point. Hell, if he’s made a deal but then determines he won’t get enough out of it’s almost guaranteed that he won’t abide by it. It’s hilarious, but yeah, anything he says really can’t be trusted.

To be fair you have to have a very high IQ to understand Swimmy. The diplomacy is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of realpolitik most of the plays will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Swimmy's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterization - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Machiavelli, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the genius of Swimmy's diplo, to realize that it's not just funny - it says something deep about LIFE.

Too be fair, France couldn't join the war against Prussia cause Bokoen took too much time to click the button and the join phase was over for the diplomatic coup. Also, defeating small nations doesn't mean you win the war against the big ones, it's just that he focused the nation with a wargoal and UK didn't had one during this war and nation without a wargoal cannot stay in the war alone. But yeah, the fact you can't add wargoal during a war or if you voluntarily join a side for a war you can't have any wargoal is retarded
