Why does he put so much work in his creations and yet he doesn't have an audience about the size of 1 million subscribers😢

0:15 clearly a missed opportunity, it should have been set 6935 walking out of that light beam.

Hey, this is great, very promising. I love the mix of the sets with the atmospheric environment. Also, the lightning is nicely done. Could you briefly describe how did you manage to blend the lightning so seamlessly?

Hello, sorry for the late reply. I'm a little confused about your question. I'm assuming you meant "lighting" instead of "lightning." If you are asking about the big light source in the middle of the set, I used a large clear cylindrical piece of pipe and shined a really bright flood-light down into it (you can actually see the cable for the light at the top right corner of the screen in the first shot). That actually ended up being the only light source I used for the entire project, which is not normal, but it suited all my needs for the shots, so I left it be. I also shot the footage at a warmer temperature setting in my camera to better match the source material from the online game; this helped blend everything together in a red/orange hue (you could also do this in post, but I decided to do it with the raw footage because I knew the look I was going for). If this doesn't adequately answer your question, please let me know and I will do my best to answer it again.

@@jungleinaroomstudios893 of course I meant lighting. Thanks for the description. I'm trying to build the skills and collect the necessary gear for creating 2001-themed series in stop motion, so that's helpful. So do you use some normal camera and not the stop motion studio on the phone?
@jungleinaroomstudios8933 ай бұрын
I do use a DSLR camera instead of a phone. I find that I have more control over the footage and the image quality is much nicer. It's also a lot easier to reduce flickering this way (especially if you shoot a lower shutter speed). That being said, stop-motion studio and a phone are still great resources, and it really doesn't matter what you use as long as you take time to plan the framing, lighting, and set design. I've seen animators use resources as simple as a webcam and create absolutely stunning results simply because they're passionate and have had a lot of practice with the craft. Plus, as long as you enjoy what you're doing, it's always worth it. Don't hesitate to ask me any more questions, and good luck with your 2001-themed stop-motion series.

the quote about "but look into their hearts and you'll see that they also have the power to destroy" just rings hollow in hind-sight. Because we never truly get to SEE the "destructive side" of Matoran. and Akhmou is basically "that one and only exception". And Vultraz? Vultraz is barely relevant to the story. i kinda wish, the Metru-Nui-Arc gave us some more villainous Matoran. it could've been genuinely interesting, IMO. the lore only HINTED at it, but never actually explored it. regardless: good video!
